Night Lights

With this album, I set out to make it feel more "tribal". That is, something with the power to bring individuals back to their primal, communal roots. There is a universal spirit that animates each person and connects them with their environment, whether that consists of other people, birds, plants, etc. I tried to capture a bit of that vital energy and infuse it into this album. We're all in this together, so why not Try(to)be a happy Trybe?

I could work on my vocals ... pitchy oops. This song is about how I thought (for whatever reason) that someone I wanted to reach out to me would reach out to me on my birthday, but didn't, and how I saw a band we both really enjoyed alone at a festival at midnight and it hurt but I still had fun.
