If you’re reading this, then this is for you (unless there’s another species out there that can read) | as we all unite under this unifying experience that we’ve come to know as CoVid ~ we are all reminded that we are, inherently, at our core, cut from the same essential fabric, organized with a variety of multicolor threads :: I’m so amazed at everyone for finding their unique way of serving throughout this time | all the hospital workers, those producing protective equipment, and even beyond these roles that come to mind -- everyone is attempting to play a part, whether it’s shedding a smile for someone who needs it, expressing a kind word to a frustrated soul, whatever it may be -- so much love for the Human Species throughout this time. 

To quote the words that you’ll find in this cover, “I’m only Human, after all, don’t put the blame on me” -- I was deeply upset at Donald for calling this the Chinese Virus -- this is not the time to play the blame game, it’s a time to come together, to unite forces, and to move forward in whatever way we still can. all lyrics are Dispenza’s words, taken from his books, lectures, and podcast talks | this creation right here is the highest level of thanks that i can offer to a man who has synthesized truth in a way that i’ve never encountered before | bridging the worlds of science & spirituality | demystifying the mystical | you’d probably see this brotha’s face in the dictionary if you looked up “integrity”, “nobility” or “impactfulness”. beyond these words, i really can’t describe the weight that this human’s journey has had on my own life and the lives i’ve witnessed him change through his teachings, workshops, and general ways of being. my intention with this is to make his teachings more accessible to my community | i believe that there’s a real transformative magic to combining powerfully impactful ideas with the sacred art of music... through my eyes, ideas + music seem to enable meanings to make it to a deeper level of the brain and linger around for much longer ~ i mean, after creating this, i found myself singing some of these lyrics in my head, “the brain thinks, the heart knows, gratitude is a state of receiving... contemplate who you wanna be.. ..wanna be..” I offer this to you as a tool on your journey to unravel your highest self | to let go of that beautiful, yet limiting past, and to set your vision on that infinite possibility filled future

with each medium of communication, a different facet of our soul illuminates -- for me, music is the medium that really brings out what i feel in my heart -- back in the 3rd grade, i used to rap the lyrics to this song everyday... somethin’ about it was just so.. Unexplainably Captivating. I used to have dreams of having an opportunity to do a rendition of this song somewhere, i never knew where -- well, right here, right on time for the way some of these lyrics hit :: "..i walk through the valley of the shadow of death is.. ..top floor the view alone would leave you breathless.. ..huuuu tryna catch it, it's kinda hard gettin' choked by detectives yeah yeah now check the method they be askin' us questions, harrass & arrest us, sayin' we eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast.."

back in 2014, i went through a period of time that i'd coin as a deep depression - i saw no hopeful possibilities in my future, felt no value in my capabilities, and was convinced that my life was destined to be a downward spiral. it was the writings of James Allen, a man who spent extensive amounts of time meditating & channeling wisdom throughout the 1800s, that had injected my soul with the light of empowering truth. he coined the aphorism, "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he", an idea which had been recycled in many ways, shapes, and forms in the decades to come. Brotha Allen essentially helped me dissolve every thought pattern connected to a victim mindset, continuously reminding me that each new moment holds the opportunity for a new choice, a new thought, a new seed for a new destiny. with that being said, it's with great honor that i present to you the first of my newest series of "Thematic Read Through" episodes revolving around the ideas of James, beginning with the first chapter of "Out From the Heart" | "As the Heart, so is the Life" | music: "Evolution" by Bensound
