'Clouds Like' is about an epoch where I was always up in the clouds, using weed to mask all my problems. 

The lyrics acknowledge a better future while still enjoying the unsustainable bliss. Towards the middle of the song, it talks about the pain inflicted and the pain I was inflicting within a love triangle. This made for a cocktail of resentment and jealousy, all temporarily alleviated by the next toke.
