After a year of lethargy, SD Records returns with a tremendous EP signed by Ludowick.
One of the most beloved remixers of the family finally deserved a solo EP, and the occasion has arrived in the SD 30th release.

Always Dreaming becomes one of the high points of Luis' career, of which we still don't know its peak. The EP is made up of 3 songs simmered for 5 years, and although they represent 3 different moods, the common denominator is the dancefloor.

Vitamin is a timeless Garnerian ode, confetti-scented but meticulously crafted. Luis germinated the idea a few years ago but took it up again last 2022 with new ideas to create this marvellous anthem.

Always Dreaming creates a minimalist and dreamlike atmosphere thanks to the dub dyes of the house, accompanied by a tech-house rhythm with sounds of the mythical 909.

In Its So Good Luis lets us glimpse his love for 90's house and 80's pop, with a vocal and tribal track inspired by artists like Yazoo or Madonna.

Released through cult Norwegian label Mutual Intentions, the veteran DJ / producer assembles an all-star cast for a collection of club sounds that have defined his output for the past decade.Fredfades’ music is all about attitude, evident in the evocative ‘Summer of Love’ featuring fellow countryman, Bendik HK. He says: “This is a song composed together with Norway's very best drummer: Bendik HK and myself.I recall forcing him to step out of his comfort zone to get stupid together and scrap all that intelligent stuff he would usually do on his own tracks. I gassed up the 909 to the max, found all the classic Korg M1 patches and we ended up creating some what of a tribute to the mid-90's 'Stock Sound House' in the UK which I'm a big fan and serious collector of. Later on I reworked it for a night where me and Jawn Rice were sharing a couple bottles of wine. We reprogrammed the TR-727 percussion and added some reversed reverb on it before we saved the file and closed it. I had a third session in the file later on where I added more effects, a drum break and some vocal samples of a French girl moaning from a Proto-House 12" from the late eighties.”

Based between two major US cities, Los Angeles and New York, Emotionalist Music founder, DJ and producer Jonny Sum offers up a new heavy hitting single this August in the shape of ‘I Don’t Want To Feel This Way!’.

Coming up under the new wave electronic underground that swept the united states over the past decade, Jonny Sum has cut his teeth as a DJ and as a staple of the Brooklyn electronic music scene in recent years, playing alongside the likes of Justin Strauss, Aroop Roy and Moon Boots among others. Recent years also saw Jonny launch his own label as a platform for his productions, formerly entitled Mixed Feelings Music, the label now continues under the aptly titled Emotionalist Music to present high octane ecstatic dance floor cuts from the label boss himself and others.

Leading is the original mix of ‘I Don't Want To Feel This Way!'’, laid out across five and a half minutes with a cinematic, rave tinged piano hook to pull on the heart strings, a boomy low-end drive, choppy synth flutters and a high-pitched vocal uttering the track’s title, while a sturdy rhythmic drive further fuels the peak time dance floor appeal.

Diving into Diversity Collective latest release with dancefloor dynamo, Munky Fike, here's a Remix Edition of Cabra Cega EP. With a stellar cast added to the menu, including reinterpretations from Alexny, duo Rouda, and C4STRO. The transposition of the disco feeling to fresh layers re-emerges a different kind of imprint with unique textures and collabs.
Alexny starts by stirring the pot with a dub-bassy version of ‘Cabra Cega’ theme, while brazilian duo Rouda composed by Davi Solace & Shark Groover stabs up ‘Show Me The Way” with a housy cut.
And last but not least, C4STRO with an interesting electronic soundscape of ‘Work It Out’.
