This is an old bass thing I wrote that I love playing but never did anything with...until now. Well it's still unfinished but it is going to be a little bit of time before I am ready to put more into it. 

So there is a list of things I want to do to this like replace the "solo" as well as write guitar parts for the other parts of the song. Also I may actually take a crack at lyrics and singing but still that would most likely be last. Other things I wanted I wanted to try out was some recording/mixing techniques like panning and layering. 

This is my first upload of me playing instruments (Bass and guitar...my drum skills are not even close to ready yet.)Sure there are some timing issues from one not practicing enough and two latency that I'm having trouble resolving.

Any way I hope everyone likes it and wants to hear the final product. Thanks for giving the time to listen and read this.

(edit 7/31/21: added a simple guitar part to 2 parts and a rough tapping part in the "solo". you can clearly hearing me have trouble getting a sound out of that last fret but right now its the best I can do.)

Some of my earliest memories...

When I was 3 and 4 and even maybe 5
I had an audience, they weren’t strictly “alive”,
But they filled my living room to hear me sing & jive.
I used to rock and bounce on the chesterfield,
While they clapped and hollered, even sometimes kneeled,
And I sang them tunes I knew, that Romper Room revealed.
One by one I added them to my crowd,
They were men and big boys, no girls allowed,
With handsome looks and charms they were well-endowed.
Superman, of course, who would fly right in,

There was the ditch-diggin' man from my Pookie book

Neighbour Bobby’s dad who I could see from afar
All shirtless as he hosed down his car,
And the Circus Boy who became a Monkee pop star.
TV’s Bob Cummings who was lots of fun,
There were all kinds of cowboys who would carry a gun,
Ricky Nelson would soon have hits at Number One.
There was Ricky Ricardo and Perry Como
Who never suspected I was a homo,
And neither did I, I just liked these guys.
