Gurrrl is A New Orleans Based underground DJ.
In New Orleans she pioneered taking her dj music and battery powered dj rig behind her bike on a trailer. Most days she would ride 20 miles a day. With a 200 pound trailer. 
She was the first to decide to post up in city park with pop up parties in the day time turning people on to the peristyle as a free venue.  She's put forth a lot of effort to representing the music she's loved since the early 90s. 
She literally can't stop. Won't stop

Her love of deep underground house was fueled in the heart of San Francisco in the late 90s.

She's a true individual and is driven by the love for reading an audience and keeping the energy flowing through smooth beat matching and finessing the equalizers.


This makes time fly and.. Many bartenders have thanked her for her sound scapes which keep the audience engaged and there til the end.

I released my first record at the age of 16 in 2003 for Nocturnal Records (Dis-funktional offshoot) and went on to perform official remixes for David Bowie, Basement Jaxx, Gwen Stefani, Stonebridge and many more. As well releasing house records for Cr2 and Nine Records in Chicago and performing around the world with my 4 deck DJ setup.

By 2005 I begin evolving as a writer, producer and sound designer. I wrote my own electronic-soul-pop-hip-hop based material which at the time featured over 4 million plays on Myspace winning various Urban awards and the attention of BBC 1xtra amongst many others.

Due to this success I went on to write and submit tracks for Navvaro management (Justin Timberlake and associated acts) and Britney Spears. I was also the lead producer on Nate James second studio album "Kingdom Falls".

By late 2007 I took a hiatus from the music scene to open a restaurant chain and work on other business ventures, after expanding my portfolio I've returned to revisit all the music I love under various guises.
