Studio Jesus AKA STEPHEN PAUL
Dallas native and practiced producer, Studio Jesus, tells stories of love, coming of age, and inner growth through songs as unapologetic as they are effervescent. His newly released album, 111hz (2020), connects sounds of pop rap and alternative rock with contagious trip hop and trap beats that boom along to honest messages. Through unexpected genre blends, compelling lyrics, and an uncompromising commitment to breaking the rules, listeners can’t help but feel seen on a deeply human level.

Studio Jesus, born Stephen Paul Phillips in 1992, made his start in engineering and producing for artists including TAY-K 47, Soulzay, and Stylo. After gaining industry experience and advancing his musical boundaries, Phillips created the moniker, Studio Jesus, and began his own artistic journey. Influenced by artists like Pink Floyd, Gorillaz, and MF DOOM, Studio Jesus released his debut album, Gas Station Rose, in 2017.
