The time has come for Markus Schulz to celebrate the release of his brand new artist album, The Rabbit Hole Circus, available to download and stream from Friday March 30. He showcases no less than eight tracks from the album, with many being played on radio for the first time.

And in the second hour, the turns attention to The Rabbit Hole Circus Tour, providing a flavor of what fans can expect at the live shows taking place in Miami, New York City and Los Angeles. The show also features a memorial tribute to Coldharbour family member Evol Waves, who tragically lost his life last week.

"Give Me Your Love" is a joyful track that I've always loved, evoking a celebratory mood in the true spirit of disco even though it was released well after the primary disco movement of the late 1970s. Originally performed by the Italian group Fun Fun, this song is a quintessential piece of Italo disco—a genre that emerged in the early 80s, characterised by its electronic instrumentation and vibrant energy. I vividly recall sitting in front of a record player, captivated by the jubilant spirit of the vocals and the infectious rhythm, listening to it over and over again when it was originally released.
In reimagining "Give Me Your Love" for "The Afterlife," I sought to bridge the past and present, infusing the track with modern production techniques while honouring its roots. This song has taken longer to produce than any other on the album, reflecting the intricate process of capturing its essence and transforming it into something new.
The production journey for "Give Me Your Love" has been akin to navigating a creative maze, filled with unexpected turns and moments of inspiration. At times, it has felt like sculpting a gigantic piece of marble, requiring infinite patience and a willingness to delve into the details. Ultimately, "Give Me Your Love" is not just a song; it's a dialogue between the jubilant past of disco and the boundless possibilities of the present, inviting listeners to experience the freedom and joy that disco can bring.
