Metronome The City was formed over 10 years ago in New Orleans. The band consists of bass, drums, guitars, organs and moog. They also employ the use of radio frequencies, theremin, voices, glass and the occasional sitar. Their live shows are usually accompanied by film projections, and their recordings invoke cinematic textures of surf, space, the avant-garde, sludge and dub. Object To Be Destroyed is the outfit’s second full-length album and was recorded in a church/studio across the river from New Orleans in the summer of 2009. Its release date is January of 2010

Dylan Cannatella is a writer and historian born in London, UK but raised in New Orleans, LA. He graduated with a Master's degree in history from the University of New Orleans in 2017. Since then, he has worked on several historical projects including multiple family history projects and the podcast series The Deadly Crescent: A History of Crime and Punishment in New Orleans.
