This music is estimated to be 760-765 years old, from the "Chansonnier du Roi", a French medieval manuscript.

It is given an electronic rendition here. I was inspired by the energy, tempo, and arrangement of the performance of these two tunes by the English early music ensemble, The Dufay Collective. But I also took a few cues from other renditions and assembled through my own filter. Although these are clearly not authentic instruments with which to perform this music, I maintain that the music's universality survives intact in spite of being in an alien medium. We are grateful to the inspiration of others such as Wendy Carlos with her "Switched On- *" series in this regard.
