Stan Kolev joins the 25 year celebrations roster with a superb rendition of Antidote's 2006 slice What Time Is Love. Antidote aka Laurent Veronnez and Marnik Braeckevelt started Antidote back in 2003 as a vehicle to churn out quality progressive trance with a techy edge. They found their home on our Progrez imprint which was responsible for a raft of top notch cuts from the turn of the millennium. Tracks like Paraglider, Velocity and Sciabada were go to tracks for many jocks building a set into a deep progressive journey. 

Stan Kolev is a solid choice for remix duties and he has been a regular featured around the Bonzai offices and top download portals for quite some time. Based in Miami Beach, Florida, Stan certainly injects a warming east coast flavour to the track, giving it a much deeper progressive flow. Right from the get go we're drawn into that warmth thanks to a bubbling bassline and super tight drum arrangement. That classic vocal floats through the track raising the hairs on the back of your neck in the process. At the heart of the groove lies a droning sub bass that is complimented with brighter melodies that create a glistening sheen on the sound. The break is a purely blissful affair before we head straight back into full on mode for the duration. Top notch stuff that will not disappoint.

Brazilian duo Xique-Xique take on Noordhoek with their prevailing, slow burner approach. Distant yet familiar soundscapes permeate and intertwine with dreamy pads, bringing the track to a serene simmer.
Known for his passion for afro house, Daniel Rateuke administers his trademark moves to Subati, which takes a renewed, groove-heavy form. Aptly operating tribal drums and indigenous vocals and percussion, the track becomes an avalanche of rhythm and energy that makes for a great mood-setter.

Swiss producer Avasono returns to Manual Music's MNL subsidiary for a third appearance after last years' 'Overwhelming Picture' single and his 2017 label debut 'Hummingbird' which both gained a lot of support throughout the scene.

'Riells' might just be his best work to date. An underground tune that starts out with some menacing rolling beats and percussion, quickly to evolve in to a full fletched and very mature sounding crowd pleaser. Stick around until the second part of the track where the synths truly open up and show their pure bliss!

On remix duties we're incredibly happy to welcome one of the hottest producers of the moment on board; Greece's own Ziger! His productions have found their way into the sets of every A-list DJ over recent years, and he's one of progressive house's best selling artists at the moment. A fact which shouldn't surprise you when listening to the stellar remix he created for Avasono.

Phenomena begins the Spring season with a new offering from label boss Solid Stone. The Canadian artist got the year underway in fine style with his ‘Monsoon’ EP. Released in February with support from electronic luminaries Adriatique and Tale Of Us, the two track offering furthered the astral aesthetic which has now become a hallmark of the Montreal resident. Now following a well received remix for Banana Cat’s ‘Derecho’, Solid Stone returns to his comfortable home of Phenomena for the highly anticipated ‘Ritual’ EP. 

With melodic techno currently thriving Solid Stone’s forward thinking sound is one of the genre’s freshest at the moment. The perpetually in demand remixer has crafted two more exceptional productions, both with a great nose for the dance floor. Beginning with the title selection ‘Ritual’ we see the Canadian artist exploring dark, bassy rumblings and spaced out motifs. Murky and mysterious in equal measure, the piece flows through wispy atmospherics and astral arps with an effortless ease. The first of two breaks serves as a cosmic reservoir, uniting percussive flurries and mind melting modulation, before shifting energy into a second act bridge and brooding finale. 

The companion piece ‘Lucid’ serves as a worthy complement with its icy design and dark yet emotive undertone. Solid Stone’s knack for crafting shadowy storyboards has never been more evident, with a backdrop of prophetic textures perfectly encasing the tight framework and free flowing sonics. Fiery percussion and ghostly vocal fragments build tension throughout the first act, before stripping down into muted kicks and dulcet hooks. The vocal narrative continues to evolve as the main break unfolds, travelling through a percussive haze as billowing swells elevate the mood for a poignant finale act. Dark, brooding and acutely contemplative it might be Solid Stone’s most subversive creation to date, bridging moments of both drama and emotion across its eight minute journey. A look forward into the future and perfectly rounding out a stunning two track offering from the Phenomena label boss.

Greek producer Ziger and his 'After Midnight' became of the most successful Progressive House tracks of 2018, and now Ziger opens curtains of the release with 'Transparent' - a track, the pulsing energy of which lays the world of colorful melodies onto the right path.

A very promising live act, the professional violinist and the producer from Germany Seth Schwarz puts his music mind together with Stephan Zovsky for 'Ometion' - lyrical and rich on progressions track, that's what we are very big fans of here.

Turkey-based producer Deniz Kabu combines a perfect match of the vocals, the progressions, and the acid sounds into a track which is called 'In A Life'; the track which has already seen another perspective from Diynamic label-boss Solomun during his sets.
That's how the unknown spots from the world illuminate all the spots of our big planet with music, as we set no boundaries. 
As a 'must'."

Roger Martinez's Higher States imprint continues a strong start to their journey by welcoming GMJ to the label for his debut EP. Based in Melbourne, Australia GMJ aka Gavin Martin has been a primary figure in the progressive house scene for over a decade. His passion for deep and emotive electronic music has seen him land releases on the industry's most esteemed imprints. From Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music to Cid Inc’s Replug Records and UK behemoth Anjunadeep, it's GMJ's storytelling style that continues to surprise and inspire even the genre's most discerning fans. Now following an EP for US conglomerate Proton Music, GMJ debuts on Higher States with the much anticipated 'Enter Universe' artist showcase.

Spread across three tracks it's the warm, redolent grooves of the title selection which gets the release underway. The seven minute journey effortlessly melds organic percussion, arcane atmospheres and hazy harmonic concepts, for what results in a travelogue of mystical audio. Delicate yet powerful it perfectly sets the stage for the peak time flavoured 'Multiverse'. It's astral designs and percussion cadence prove instantly compelling, while a foundation of pulsating beats and electric rhythms continues to drive momentum forward. A cascading motif sits at the spiritual core of the piece, evocative and fluid, gently elevating mood with each successive pass, until elegantly peaking during a poignant final act. Rounding out the collection is the mid tempo 'Niloquai'. Highly creative, it's blend of clustered vocal fragments, spatial arps and textural drifts makes for an enticing storyboard, all playing out over waves of contoured bass and striking tonal design. Reflective in mood it caps off what is an impassioned collection of music from GMJ, one which sees him raise the bar once again and continue what has been an inspired year for the Australian producer.
