"King of Cool" is a jazzy retro tune from my upcoming album called "Nostalgia" where my focus was to create a sonic cinema for the mind. 
It's based on a mimic from a jazz sample that inspired me to a mixture of a Lalo Shifrin-like crime movie soundtrack and "Take Five" from Dave Brubeck. It sounds simple but has quite a few key changes and a 5/4 beat.
The mixing process was a nightmare considering the key changes and it took me quite a long time to find the right balance.
