Two weekends ago, I not only had the pleasure of celebrating the New Year by having a stomp in the bush with a bunch of absolute legends, but also had the incredible honour of playing the opening set of 2022! This is a slightly modified recording of my set from the doof, which includes a special extra track that I didn't get the chance to play on the night. I hope you all enjoy listening to this beautiful collection of tracks as much as I enjoyed playing them.
My heart is so full of gratitude and love for every new soul I made a connection with over the past year and for everyone who has supported me along my music journey thus far. As well as gratitude to myself for sticking with what I truly love and pushing forward through all the challenges, one step at a time. 🥰
Feeling incredibly inspired to continue adventuring down this path and so so excited for what this coming year will bring. Let’s fkn send it. ♥️

Whilst Bongani is a busy bee behind the scenes and in the studio, we can also confidently say - the man can mix. Bouncing from big stage booths at Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Subsonic and Esoteric, back to the Recovery Collective management office, with some of the sweatiest club slots in between, Bongani has more than dipped his toes in the ever evolving Australian progressive techno scene... You could say he's done a full swan dive.

This week in the mix for SixthSense Australia, Bongani presents a full slog of progressive techno and heaving minimal techno with a dark, tasty, tribal edge. His recent releases on Carbon & Lampè's Alula Tunes, Techgnosis Records and Recovery Collective influence the direction, giving this mix a very personal touch.

Coinciding with the SixthSense Australia premiere of Bongani's "Memories of a Dream" on Alula Tunes and our imminent interview, SSA takes a slice of the final month of this interesting year to shine a spotlight on this promising Melbourne local.
