• We met Mia during a gig in Zürich, but we met her first through her sets a few months before. When virtual becomes reality.. It was one of these nice memories that stays in mind, when you meet the human being behind the music. Sharing the same passion is precious and that’s why we’re really happy to invite this inspiring woman on The Gemstone series. Enjoy the story you’re going to listen.

• Mia Kaltes is a dj and a musician since 2004. Travelling to share many emotions through her sets. Regardless the BPM, she’s looking for groove, emotion, colour and story when she’s digging new gems. Since 2012 as her personal path, she’s more into slower, deeper, softer and less dark music. Based in Swiss, she proposes multiculrural and meditative set to connect with ourself and escape through music..

What a joy when the Parisian girl asked me: “Do you want to record a podcast for our Crépite collective?”
Despite my lack of experience and knowledge about live streaming, I proposed them to stream the recording of the podcast from my living room, the day of my birthday ! 
I am a bit lost in this technical and social network stuff, and finally the live stayed private... You learn from your mistake !

For once, I didn’t go too deep. I’ve asked myself: “What do I really need right now? What do I want to share?”
Sweetness was the answer! That’s what we all need right now. Warmth and comfort. I prepared this colourful set with this mindset. With happiness and light..

Former Pro DJ and lifetime music lover.  Used the SL1200's for years until finally moving into the 21st century with Traktor.
Always been a fan of live instruments and melodic rhythms, both electronic and natural.
I play all kinds of house music, whether it be progressive, funky, latin, tech etc etc., but for the last couple of years I've been focussing on slowing things down (I think it comes with age!) and enjoying the music for what it is.  Now I just play for fun, so no pressure and I just listen and appreciate.
Now getting into a little producing some nice edits and hope to bring out something totally original soon :)
