Here is Charles latest work on Altar Records titled “Atmosphere”. It is a beautiful album that seamlessly flows from one track to the next, with movement like a gentle organic spiral.


This new album is musically weaved together of four previously unreleased tunes, along with some of the best recent compilations.


For an utmost musical experience, all of the tracks have been remixed and re-mastered in 24 bit. In addition, the album cover art perfectly portrays Asura’s elegant and neat melodies.

Techsafari presents KALKI with this 2024 Live Mix about which Kalki says: ''My live set features my latest releases, including 'Phoenix' and my collaboration with Liquid Soul, along with a selection of my recently produced favorite tracks. KALKI is a progressive psytrance music project by Thibault Fontaine. In 2016, his debut EP, "Varanasi," made a notable entrance into the trance scene. Finding a creative haven through his dedicated label, Techsafari Records, KALKI reached new heights. His subsequent releases, including "Maya," "Whales," and "Aura," consistently secured spots in the Beatport top 10. Continuously exploring new musical paths, KALKI demonstrated his versatility and commitment to pushing the boundaries of his sonic repertoire by signing an EP titled "Liberation" and remixing for Protonica on the prestigious Iboga Records label. More recently, KALKI collaborated with Liquid Soul, producing "I AM." This prestigious collaboration has now earned him a respected position. It turned out to be a super fun night, meeting old and new friends and sharing great dance floor moments together. 

Cudos to my partner in rhyme Luca Pintus aka Dj Pinch aka the legend who organised everything. Thank you for the booking, and my deepest gratitude for the experience.  It was my first time playing live on stage again since my retirement 5 years ago.

Saturday 3 p.m. opening Atlantis - the biggest stage at Bucht der Träumer* 2024. I'm still processing what happened! 😳💥

This festival became a room of longings every since I visited it 2019. Becoming part of this crew is still one of the biggest gifts that ever happened to me. Now, to have had the honor to open this floor on saturday calls for a reality check! 

And the biggest proof of love I could receive: everyone of you who sticked to the dancefloor while the sun was melting the sand underneath our feets. You guys were amazing! Really too hot to handle!!🫠 🫶

Thanks for all the lovely words afterwards, your energy throughout this two hour ride and your respect for each other. Once again all you dreamers* made a huge difference!💞

After 21 years of DJing, I played at my friends’ wedding for the very first time. The night before, I asked the groom what kind of tracks they liked. He just said, “Didn’t you see the Telegram group with the wedding playlists as inspiration?” I hadn’t. My week was so fully packed but when I finally checked, I found the group buried between ominous Berlin afterhour chats — and was stunned to see that the bride and groom had carefully prepared 80 danceable tracks for us DJs.

So I started building my set around their selection. There was plenty of overlap with my own library, especially with a lot of classics from the time of the rising of Berlin's electronic music scene.  I bought a few songs I didn’t have already, and then added another 100 from my collection. While preparing, I got goosebumps. The love in that music reminded me exactly why I became a DJ in the first place: to share songs with friends and craft compilations meant especially for one person — or, in this case, two.

The wedding itself was so beautiful I could have cried. And I did. Right after the very first transition, when I looked up and saw the couple dancing together deeply in love in the front row. From then on it was pure bliss — everyone swept up inside the warm bubble of love’s magic.
