Hey, getting out of the ROTN character again; need to talk about the state of this account and some of my alts.

First off, not like most people cared, but I was behind bb86 (https://soundcloud.com/aotk86). Originally I was gonna keep it as a secret lil thing, but the reason why I'm saying this is cause of what I'm about to say.

I still love hyperflip; its a genre that I'm not really gonna truly separate from. But what is happening is that I'm not getting happy with how I'm treating my production of it. I've been getting way more scared of how people think of me because of this, to the point where I'm extremely sensitive to criticism that's fairly milquetoast, and I'm starting to run out of juice to keep up my hyperflip alts and whatnot. Despite what I said before, trying to return to a more classic hyperflip hasn't been helping me.

And on top of this, I am *still* struggling with getting attention to my Bandcamp page. I originally didn't care about how people first knew me as ROTN, but it is a bit infuriating to me that its my most popular thing and that it hasn't really translated to anywhere else; if I'm being frank, I'm kinda feeling like I'm in a Jane Remover/leroy situation. I want to show that I am capable of making things that aren't hyperflip, or at the very least aren't what everyone else is doing, and just, IDK, I don't really know how to continue doing it with hyperflip.

I'm also starting to not have as big of a musical output as I once did when starting all of this; on top of college getting in the way, I'm also trying to put into progress a plan to move out of my current state (North Carolina), so that's also been taking up my mind.

Its with this and a heavy heart that I'm gonna have to discontinue the ROTN project and its related aliases. I'm not entirely sure what I'm gonna do with the other aliases, but I know I have to start fresh. I'll try to share wherever I can of the new place I'll be at, but yeah. As per usual, my Bandcamp (https://galvanisticyoungboy.bandcamp.com/) will still be here, no matter what I do.
