Astral Records continues to showcase new and exciting talent by welcoming I.AM to the label for his debut single. Amit Maimon aka I.AM entered the world of melodic house and techno as a DJ first, channeling languages of varied musical landscapes into his sets, and churning them into his own complex rollercoaster of intricate melodic techno. Gigs at some of his country's trendiest venues such as The Maze, have already made I.AM a name to watch as he now makes his production debut with 'Falling To Pieces', alongside remixes from Paul Anthonee, Omar Khalifa & Turako. I.AM's production debut 'Falling To Pieces' lands with the studio touch of an established veteran, in turn finding a perfect balance between emotive vocal phrasing and club-effective grooves. Cosmic and poignant in equal measure, it's a foundation of punchy kick drums and pulsating bass lines which set the stage for symphonic synth phrasing and heartfelt vocals to steal the air. The break only furthers its dancefloor appeal with a grandiose build and powerful drop driven by heartfelt overlays and further sonic mutations. The first interpretation of 'Falling To Pieces' is provided by label A&R Paul Anthonee. In addition to being a core part of the Astral family, Paul has achieved global recognition for his far-reaching sound. Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex, Carl Cox, Innellea, Fideles, Kevin De Vries and more have praised his work, while Running Clouds, Steyoyoke, Parquet and UV Noir have been landing spots for his sought-after tracks. In recent years Paul has chosen to primarily focus on Astral as his production home, while also adding Rafael Cerato's Ritual imprint to his resume. Now, following a remix of 'The Arrival' by Far From Home & Retoric to begin the year, Paul returns to Astral with a huge rendition of 'Falling To Pieces'. Opting for a more refined take on the track, the Cyprus resident conveys the mood from the original beautifully, for a slightly less vocally dominant, yet equally emotive and dramatic version that's driven by phasing chord stabs and thunderous grooves, making it perfect for the more astute dancefloors out there. The release concludes with Omar Khalifa & Turako making their label debut with the second and final interpretation of 'Falling To Pieces'. Upon forming a production partnership in 2023 Omar and Turako have become a duo to watch within the world of melodic house and techno. A well received remix of 'Dive Into Your Fear' Freemann (IT) for Melodic Room would lead to a first EP project for the label to begin 2024. Now, fresh off a contribution to New Tab's popular 'Opera' series, Omar Khalifa & Turako make their Astral debut with a darker rendition of 'Falling To Pieces'. While maintaining the spirit of the original, Omar and Turako aim squarely at a peak hour dancefloor with a sweeping sonic experience all their own, utilizing the vocal sparingly, while adding their own unique array of darker monochromes and trance-inducing synths for an exhilarating experience to round out the release on a high note..

The 18th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital sees frequent studio partners Antix and Tim Richards teaming up once again for a new single. The New Zealand based trio have worked together in the past with spectacular results on Flow, Iboga, Detone, and SIlence Through Music. Their first studio production for Perspectives is a vocal project entitled 'Another Day' which includes remixes from Andre Sobota, SQL and Fiord.&#13;
&#13;
The Original Mix begins with a tight, floor-friendly house groove that's accented with sparkling electronics and enchanting harmonies, which deliver an amazing atmosphere early on.  The highlight of the production though is a charming vocal which provides some enticing hooks, along with dynamic range that is sure to have the full attention of your dance floor.&#13;

The first remix on the package is supplied by Andre Sobota, who is making his first appearance on Perspectives. The Brazilian producer has been crafting some of the most musically inspiring progressive house for the last 2 years. Andre's remix of Coldplay &amp; Rihanna's 'Princess Of China' was picked up and played by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and then subsequently released on EMI. Following that, Andre's two tracks 'Voyager' and 'Found' were signed by Eric Prydz for release on his Pryda Friends label. Further releases on Toolroom and microCastle capped off an incredible 2012 for Andre, and with his remix here, he's gotten 2013 off to an amazing start. Andre's taken all the amazing elements from the original and transformed them into his own progressive techno hybrid that's full of the soul and emotion we've come to expect from the Brazilian producer.&#13;
&#13;
The second interpretation is provided by SQL, who is also making his debut appearance on Perspectives. Pim Van Horssen aka SQL is a Dutch techno / tech house producer whose pristine studio skills are well documented with releases on GEM, Get Physical, and Form. For his 'Another Day' interpretation, SQL has crafted an irresistibly funky groove that is perfectly accented with smooth melancholic lines, subtle acid hooks, and a great twist on the vocal elements from the original.&#13;
&#13;
The final remix on the package comes from Antix under their more tech house oriented Fiord guise.  It rounds the package out nicely with a cool and contemporary club vibe.  The rolling hypnotic rhythms, hook heavy stabs, vibrant drums, and captivating vocal loops provide a stunning hypnotic element to the piece.  Look for this one to go down as one of Fiord's most infectious creations to date.&#13;

Internationally acclaimed DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner Darin Epsilon is often referred to as a pioneer of Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House.  His Perspectives radio show and podcast reaches tens of thousands of listeners every month.  He launched his Perspectives Digital record label in November 2010 as an extension of the brand, further solidifying his influence and presence within the global dance community. In 2016 he was nominated for ‘Best Progressive House Artist’ in the annual Beatport Awards, and in 2011, John Digweed named him one of the winners in his DJ Competition sponsored by Bedrock and Ableton Live.  He also became the first artist ever to release a tutorial for producing Progressive House after teaming up with SonicAcademy.com

To date, Darin has released music on many of the industry's most respected labels including Katermukke, Einmusika, Sudbeat, Renaissance, Global Underground, Parquet, Selador, Warung, Hope Recordings, microCastle, and more.
