Perspectives Digital is pleased to present our first ever Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) Sampler. The annual Dutch convention has long been a testing ground for the upcoming fall season's biggest records. Highlighting the sampler are new productions from Marc Poppcke, JimiJ, and Namatjira, as well as Darin Epsilon's much anticipated single 'Valencia'. Leading the sampler is Marc Poppcke’s brand new remix of Dutch producer Alessandro Diga's 'End of This Road'. Marc had a fabulous 2013 with releases on Sasha's Last Night on Earth and Parquet Recordings. This is the German producer's first appearance on Perspectives and his unique tech house sound has lent itself quite well to Alessandro's contemporary progressive grooves. Originally released in February of 2012, Marc has reinvented 'End of This Road' with a tight framework that incorporates many of the tantalizing musical themes from the original. Complementing the warm groove are a selection of spacey sounds and smooth electronic swells that are sure to have your full attention. As 2013 quickly approaches its fourth quarter, Perspectives label owner Darin Epsilon has been increasingly busy. His truly global DJ schedule, in conjunction with his production work on Sudbeat, Hope Recordings, and Flow Vinyl have propelled the US producer to new heights this year. The second track on the sampler is his much sought after 'Valencia'. There has been considerable buzz surrounding this production since it aired on Hernan Cattaneo’s Delta FM radio show. It's available here for the first time with a full release forthcoming on Perspectives featuring Jamie Stevens and Dousk remixes. Australian producer JimiJ's releases on Armada and Electronic Elements have been making their mark with both Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk this year. JimiJ makes his debut on Perspectives with his latest studio production entitled 'Ephemera'. Fans of Guy J should be delighted with this one as the Aussie's blend of deep tech house grooves and elegant harmonic themes will really strike a chord on the dancefloor. The final track on the sampler sees another exciting artist debut on Perspectives. Dutch producer Namatjira has been a fixture of Holland’s electronic music underground for the last ten years. Working under several aliases, he's found much success with appearances on Lowbit Records, Crossfrontier Audio, and Proton's Particles. 'Liquid Madness' is one of the Dutch producer’s finest musical creations to date. Backed by a deep and sultry groove, the interwoven melodies, angelic vocal stabs, and delicate textures work in perfect harmony for what results in an exquisite journey to close the sampler out. Astral Records continues to showcase new and exciting talent by welcoming I.AM to the label for his debut single. Amit Maimon aka I.AM entered the world of melodic house and techno as a DJ first, channeling languages of varied musical landscapes into his sets, and churning them into his own complex rollercoaster of intricate melodic techno. Gigs at some of his country's trendiest venues such as The Maze, have already made I.AM a name to watch as he now makes his production debut with 'Falling To Pieces', alongside remixes from Paul Anthonee, Omar Khalifa & Turako. I.AM's production debut 'Falling To Pieces' lands with the studio touch of an established veteran, in turn finding a perfect balance between emotive vocal phrasing and club-effective grooves. Cosmic and poignant in equal measure, it's a foundation of punchy kick drums and pulsating bass lines which set the stage for symphonic synth phrasing and heartfelt vocals to steal the air. The break only furthers its dancefloor appeal with a grandiose build and powerful drop driven by heartfelt overlays and further sonic mutations. The first interpretation of 'Falling To Pieces' is provided by label A&R Paul Anthonee. In addition to being a core part of the Astral family, Paul has achieved global recognition for his far-reaching sound. Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex, Carl Cox, Innellea, Fideles, Kevin De Vries and more have praised his work, while Running Clouds, Steyoyoke, Parquet and UV Noir have been landing spots for his sought-after tracks. In recent years Paul has chosen to primarily focus on Astral as his production home, while also adding Rafael Cerato's Ritual imprint to his resume. Now, following a remix of 'The Arrival' by Far From Home & Retoric to begin the year, Paul returns to Astral with a huge rendition of 'Falling To Pieces'. Opting for a more refined take on the track, the Cyprus resident conveys the mood from the original beautifully, for a slightly less vocally dominant, yet equally emotive and dramatic version that's driven by phasing chord stabs and thunderous grooves, making it perfect for the more astute dancefloors out there. The release concludes with Omar Khalifa & Turako making their label debut with the second and final interpretation of 'Falling To Pieces'. Upon forming a production partnership in 2023 Omar and Turako have become a duo to watch within the world of melodic house and techno. A well received remix of 'Dive Into Your Fear' Freemann (IT) for Melodic Room would lead to a first EP project for the label to begin 2024. Now, fresh off a contribution to New Tab's popular 'Opera' series, Omar Khalifa & Turako make their Astral debut with a darker rendition of 'Falling To Pieces'. While maintaining the spirit of the original, Omar and Turako aim squarely at a peak hour dancefloor with a sweeping sonic experience all their own, utilizing the vocal sparingly, while adding their own unique array of darker monochromes and trance-inducing synths for an exhilarating experience to round out the release on a high note..

Internationally acclaimed DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner Darin Epsilon is often referred to as a pioneer of Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House.  His Perspectives radio show and podcast reaches tens of thousands of listeners every month.  He launched his Perspectives Digital record label in November 2010 as an extension of the brand, further solidifying his influence and presence within the global dance community. In 2016 he was nominated for ‘Best Progressive House Artist’ in the annual Beatport Awards, and in 2011, John Digweed named him one of the winners in his DJ Competition sponsored by Bedrock and Ableton Live.  He also became the first artist ever to release a tutorial for producing Progressive House after teaming up with SonicAcademy.com

To date, Darin has released music on many of the industry's most respected labels including Katermukke, Einmusika, Sudbeat, Renaissance, Global Underground, Parquet, Selador, Warung, Hope Recordings, microCastle, and more.
