Paul Hazendonk's 'Adapt' LP was released in April of 2014. It was and continues to be one of this year's standout musical collections. Paul's Manual Music imprint is now pleased to present the second single from the album entitled 'In the Dark' feat Alice Rose. It was one of many tracks in which Paul collaborated with fellow Dutch producer Noraj Cue.&#13;

'In the Dark' had the distinct honour of opening the album with its delicate beats and melancholic elegance. For the 136th release on Manual Music we now see new interpretations from Darin Epsilon and Hubert Kirchner.&#13;

Darin Epsilon has long been one of the USA's most loved electronic music artists. The Los Angeles based producer has seen his studio work appear on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Nick Warren's Hope Recordings and his own Perspectives Digital imprint.

As a result Darin's DJ gigs have flourished on a global scale with recent tours in Argentina, India, Canada and all over the United States.

Darin's unique take on melodic techno has lent itself perfectly to 'In the Dark'. The US producer's luminescent tones carry a deep, hypnotic quality which just enhance the wispy nature of Alice's gorgeous vocals.

The accompanying rhythms are suitably contemporary and Darin's ever-evolving musical theme reaches a tantalizing peak which you won't soon forget.

In the two years since his last original outing on the label, the unforgettable “Beautiful Life”, Martin Roth has developed his deep hypnotic sounds on labels like Poesie Musik and Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat. He returns to Anjunadeep with “Mel / Maya”, two dark, techno influenced gems showcasing Martin’s ear for spellbinding club music.

“Mel” is a surging monster of a track, driven by huge rumbling low end beneath subtle swirling melodies. Combining dark, techy elements with classic progressive textures, “Mel” is a fine example of the current underground sound in Martin’s hometown of Berlin.

A stand out on Anjunadeep 06, “Maya” is another moody piece of house music, primed for a 4AM dancefloor. Big thudding percussion masks a gentle melody that ebbs and flows into an epic breakdown, packed full of atmospheric rising pads.

On remix duties are two emerging talents Peter Pardeike and Whomi. Tackling “Mel” is Whomi, who has made waves recently with impressive remixes of Ultraista and Soul Button. He takes a minimal approach, building from murky beginnings into an incredible crescendo throughout the breakdown. A serious dancefloor weapon in the right hands!

Following a hugely supported release on Innervisions with Marcus Worgull, fellow Berliner Peter Pardeike turns his hand to “Maya" in distinctive fashion. Stripping back to focus on bassline and piano, the track takes a leftfield turn into arpeggio territory. Another memorable moment on a highly anticipated comeback EP.

Darin Epsilon is a globally renowned DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner, widely celebrated as one of the pioneers of Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House. As the host of the Perspectives radio show and podcast, he has reached tens of thousands of listeners each month, solidifying his influence within the global dance music community. Since launching his label Perspectives Digital in 2010, Darin has continually expanded his artistic reach, further establishing himself as a key figure in the electronic music scene.

Originally from Chicago, Darin’s early career was shaped by his pivotal residency at the legendary Vision Nightclub. This was followed by his move to Los Angeles in 2008, where he worked with renowned brands such as Insomniac at Exchange LA, GIANT at Avalon and Vanguard, and Monday Night Social. His journey continued in 2017 when he relocated to Berlin, the world’s electronic music capital. By 2022, he further cemented his position on the global stage with a highly coveted DJ residency at Ritter Butzke, one of Berlin’s most beloved venues. 

Darin's career milestones are a testament to his pure talent and determination. In 2011, he gained international recognition by winning John Digweed’s 'Structures Two' DJ Competition, sponsored by Bedrock and Ableton Live, and in 2016, he was nominated for 'Best Progressive House Artist’ at the Beatport Awards. He also became the first artist ever to release a Progressive House production tutorial after teaming up with SonicAcademy.com, further demonstrating his expertise and commitment to music education.

Throughout his lengthy career, Darin has released on the industry's most recognized labels such as (in alphabetical order) Einmusika, Katermukke, Renaissance, Ritter Butzke Records, Selador, Siona Records, Sudbeat, and Warung Recordings. His ability to connect with audiences is unparalleled, and his relentless touring schedule has taken him from the world’s most prestigious venues—Ministry of Sound and EGG (London), Avalon and Exchange (Los Angeles), Stereo (Montreal), The Bow (Buenos Aires)—to the most popular festivals such as Amsterdam Dance Event, Burning Man, Ultra Music Festival, BPM Festival, South By Southwest (SXSW), and Berlin Dance Music Event.

However, it would be foolish to say that his achievements have been purely confined to the club setting.
