The last decade has seen Guy J climb underground music’s illustrious ladder, enthralling the minds of music lovers across the globe with his eclectic perception of how electronic music should be constructed. With a clear vision and much-envied trait of being able to create a contrasting variety of genres, along with gracing the globes renowned clubs and festival, Guy J now proudly announces his forthcoming album on John Digweed’s Bedrock records, titled The Trees, The Sea & The Sun.

An artist that carries a wealth of experience within music, Guy J first caught the attention of music heavy weights with his 2007 release ‘Save Me’, making the dance music community rightfully stand up and take notice of the young producers fresh new sound. With international support from John Digweed, who has pioneered his various projects, The Trees, The Sea & The Sun is the culmination of all the esteemed sounds that Guy J holds so dearly to himself, merged into a listening experience like no other.

An intrinsic component of John Digweed’s Bedrock family, Guy J’s previous two LP’s ‘Esperanza’ and ‘1000 Words’ received an array of solid reviews from leading publications within the music industry. Atmospheric melodies were married with minimal techno percussion in a never before heard fusion of left field sounds. Returning to Bedrock with his third LP, The Trees, The Sea & The Sun elevates the trademark sound that has made him the revered artist that stands before us today.

Drawing inspiration from a vast collection of influences, this release perfectly embraces and incorporates Guy’s mesmeric production style weaving through wonderfully programmed drum rhythms in ‘Equinox’ and ‘Live Another Day’s’ flurrying synth arrangements. Demonstrating his versatility as not only a producer, but as an electronic artist, the likes of ‘Mad Sine’ and ‘Paradox’ showcase the ability to create intricately crafted experimental productions. 

A devoted producer, Guy J has never neglected the importance of performing at venues across the world; a regular at the likes of Space Ibiza and Verboten New York, club goers have become enchanted by his signature and never before experience blend of house and techno. As a bonus, you'll hear my live recording from Getaria in the 2nd half of the show.  It was my first time performing in Spain and the crowd was absolutely one of the best I've had this entire year!  Many thanks to the entire Spectrum Nights crew for a truly memorable evening.

Darin Epsilon is a globally renowned DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner, widely celebrated as one of the pioneers of Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House. As the host of the Perspectives radio show and podcast, he has reached tens of thousands of listeners each month, solidifying his influence within the global dance music community. Since launching his label Perspectives Digital in 2010, Darin has continually expanded his artistic reach, further establishing himself as a key figure in the electronic music scene.

Originally from Chicago, Darin’s early career was shaped by his pivotal residency at the legendary Vision Nightclub. This was followed by his move to Los Angeles in 2008, where he worked with renowned brands such as Insomniac at Exchange LA, GIANT at Avalon and Vanguard, and Monday Night Social. His journey continued in 2017 when he relocated to Berlin, the world’s electronic music capital. By 2022, he further cemented his position on the global stage with a highly coveted DJ residency at Ritter Butzke, one of Berlin’s most beloved venues. 

Darin's career milestones are a testament to his pure talent and determination. In 2011, he gained international recognition by winning John Digweed’s 'Structures Two' DJ Competition, sponsored by Bedrock and Ableton Live, and in 2016, he was nominated for 'Best Progressive House Artist’ at the Beatport Awards. He also became the first artist ever to release a Progressive House production tutorial after teaming up with SonicAcademy.com, further demonstrating his expertise and commitment to music education.

Throughout his lengthy career, Darin has released on the industry's most recognized labels such as (in alphabetical order) Einmusika, Katermukke, Renaissance, Ritter Butzke Records, Selador, Siona Records, Sudbeat, and Warung Recordings. His tracks have consistently charted in Beatport's Top 10, and he has garnered widespread acclaim working alongside top-tier artists such as DJ CHUS, Fur Coat, Jerome Isma-Ae, Hernan Cattaneo, Miss Monique, Quivver, Robert Babicz, Sasha Carassi, Sebastien Leger, Sydney Blu, among countless others.

If you have ever been in the audience to catch one of his live sets, it becomes immediately apparent that he is proficiently skilled as a DJ as well. His ability to connect with audiences is unparalleled, and his relentless touring schedule has taken him from the world’s most prestigious venues—Ministry of Sound and EGG (London), Avalon and Exchange (Los Angeles), Stereo (Montreal), The Bow (Buenos Aires)—to the most popular festivals such as Amsterdam Dance Event, Burning Man, Ultra Music Festival, BPM Festival, South By Southwest (SXSW), and Berlin Dance Music Event.

However, it would be foolish to say that his achievements have been purely confined to the club setting. Darin’s music has also caught the attention of global brands like MTV, Algoriddim djay, American DJ, Elation Professional, and Global Truss, for whom he has licensed content and provided the soundtrack to their promotional videos. His tracks have also been featured in several feature films, placing him among a select group of producers whose music has graced the big screen.
