WOMEN LIFE FREEDOM [DEES-WLF] is a special charity project curated by Deestricted & Aida Arko, including many Iranian artists, that will be released on the International Women's Day, the 8th of March. It has been created to collect money for WOMAN, LIFE, FREEDOM ( www.womanlifefreedom.today) and most importantly to shed light on the current situation of Iran and raise awareness & support the Women in Iran from our scene!

“Woman, Life, Freedom” is a popular political Kurdish slogan and an association that supports global actions in solidarity with Iranian women & girls who are courageously and peacefully demonstrating for their fundamental human rights.

The use of the slogan "Woman, Life, Freedom" in Iran goes back to the series of protests following the death of Mahsa Amini. The slogan was first chanted at her funeral in Saqqez and then was heard in the initial protests in Sanandaj.

Iran is facing the first ever women revolution in its history, started by the death of Mahsa Amini on September 16th 2022. Ever since then people in Iran have shown tremendous acts of bravery risking their lives on the streets, fighting their violent dictator regime, seeking basic human rights and freedom.

By now the regime has responded to the protesters with pure cruelty. Thousands have been arrested or killed, disappeared having critical medical conditions, brutally tortured in jails and sentenced to the death penalty without any court cases or support from the international organizations!

A nation of 8 million citizens & over 4000 years of history needs our international support right now.

This is the goal of this special release that would be supported from a charity event will happen in Berlin 7th of March at ://about blank with help of amazing local and a massive representation of Iranian all FLINTA djs.

All profits will be donated to the organization helping women in Iran with the ongoing revolution.

My name is Ayumi, born in the US and raised in Japan. I've been living in the US for the past 20 years. I've been through many musical phases in my life from Rock to Hip Hop to electronic music. DJing and posting mixes of different genres of electronic music is my hobby. Paride Saraceni - Jim's Prophecy [NF$001] LO-FI

It was in 2009 when Paride Saraceni envisioned his rework of the Doors' classic 'Light My Fire', a project which never came to life until 2015 when he decided to create a work that would not only translate the classic rock masterpiece into a postmodern dance-floor tune.
'Jim's Prophecy' is however not simply a rework of the Doors' classic hit but a seamless collage of several of their works as well as of a 1970 interview to Morrison himself in which he predicts the future of music, from which the track adopts its title.

It is the format by which these events come to our ears that Saraceni found inspiration from, since not only Morrison predicted the advent of the one-man band surrounded by 'machines and tapes' but it is this statement itself a tape recording in its own right. The conceptual playfulness that this postmodern work is characterised by is given by both its content and its container, since what is being revoked by the means of this remix is both the essence of the band's live sounds and live performance adapted to nowaday rhythms, as well as the way in which these have came together by the very means (tapes and machines) which Morrison spoke of in his interview, this last one as well being evocatively employed in the mix, making of the remixer (and in a way of Morrison himself as well - as he directs the dialogue within the track) the true one-man band in relation to and within the various fragments of time and tape-space assembled into one single recording.
