Having in his blood the influences and sounds of the Colombian and Mexican culture, “Tambora CEO” never quite grew up having an interest and ear that was typical of what youth was exposed to in the 90's. While others were listening to the typical top 40 Pop sounds in the mid-nineties, Tambora's middle school years were filled with influences of American Music from the 30's through the 60's with the classic sounds of Glen Miller and his “Big Band” as well as plenty of Beatles and “Doo-Wop” groups, while at the same time being exposed to the sounds at home that included artists such as “Willie Colon”, “Hector Lavoe” and “Luan Luis Guerra”. As the adult years were around the corner he was able to learn and study the sounds of Latin America and Central America and realize that as deep as the American “tree” of styles is, so is the variations of Latin Music with each country sharing a distinction in style. With a background in playing percussion and learning how to read sheet music, while playing the Trumpet in his high school life, Tambora CEO has been able to combine all these years of tools to form a creative production mind that is always working to provide a unique and commercial sound that can be easily accepted by the mainstream listener for those hungry for a musical project that has a “quick attraction”. Within the most recent years Tambora CEO has been diving in the multicultural sound and instrumentation from places like India, Mumbai, Indonesia and Myanmar to name a few, and combining those sounds with the Urban and Latin commercial sound of today. With the partnerships of great vocal talents, and while maintaining a strong and organized work ethic, his sound will continue to spread to the ears of those looking for what is “cutting edge” and positive.
