Driving Alone

I released a new tune on all platforms today and I'm pretty proud of it. All the guitars were recorded live all by myself, on a kids guitar ( with a lot of effets to hide that i'm not a guitar player ). I recorded the bass on fretless 5 strings Palmer. Keys comes from Kontakt on a NI s49 mk2. The drum groove comes from me, recording on my phone myself taping on my desk. I exported the groove on my daw and added good drum samples, but you can still hear the original filtered sample on the high frequencies.
It feels good to make music again, I still feel like there's a lot to learn and improve, but making beats without pressure or expectations is nice. 
The hardest part of this process is always to share it,  I've never been good at promoting myself. I'm a discreet man, I don't like being under the spotlights, so sharing new stuff feels always is a bit confusing.

hi there, it's jesse. 
thanks for being here.
This is the story of a young adult, who has decided to leave everything he knew and head for another horizon. His heart hasn't replaced his reason, it's his reason that finally agreed to partner with his heart.
He's not quite sure what he's doing, but he knows it's the right thing to do. 
He finds it fascinating to consider that the search for fulfillment in simple things is not tied to a particular period of time. The desire to detach oneself from all those things that make life so unnecessarily complicated has always been there.
Contentment, reparation, patience are values that are getting lost as society progresses, as we can see it in the way we treat our relationships and belongings.

This musical project retraces the journey that each of us once dreamed of pursuing. To this end I brought along my usual folk-hop sound, with some charming, acoustic and warm melodies. I hope it will somehow make your day a tiny bit better in one way or another :)
