Very cool mix! I like the direction your track took too, to combine the two original works. Well done!

This is an attempt at an atmopsheric remix of at least "Dark Side of Fate" (Touhou 10: Mountain of Faith) and "Xehanort" (Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep) done for a Pixel Mixers contest. I made it both as Dark Ambient and a stage theme at the same time. The contest theme was combining at least 2 different pieces from different series. I chose the former piece because I feel it's rather underrated and very epic for a stage 2 theme. I've been wanting to remix the latter piece for years. I may release an updated version of this track some day so it's a demo for now. Enjoy.

This piece evolved from a progression of chords and harmonies I was experimenting with on acoustic guitar. I wanted to capture a sense of darkness and lingering ambiguity, something akin to film-noir style cinematography.

Master Pokey from Mother 3 was one of the most vile, disturbing bosses from a video game.  He was rage, brutal, without mercy, but our hero, Leliana (from Dragon Age Origins) was worse.  Poke and tear, until it is done!

I've been playing a lot of Doom leading up to the final round of rrPC 2016.  Along with Pokey and Leliana's themes, you'll hear some of Xehanort's theme from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.  Enjoy!

Init Preset - System Error

Wasn't very satisfied with The Key of All/Wielder of the Sky, MX's last boss theme in KH3 (I usually love Ishimoto's work so it strikes me particularly odd too) so I decided to try my own take. I realize I wasn't very original with this, though I tried to basically make it a sequel/more heroic followup to Oscurità di Xehanort/Trio delle Tenebre (there's still some evil in there though). See if you can find some of the more sneaky themes I hid! There's even a bit of the FF Prelude in here.

I hate how all my intros are the same.
