DJ Basilisk quickens the pace on SILICON OVERMIND 3, the third in a series of mixes dedicated pushing the boundaries of psychedelic techno ever outward. Blasting through 25 tracks in just under 80 minutes, this hyper-kinetic journey through sound features selections from across a vast spectrum of underground sources, all smoothly layered and blended with an ear for harmonics and interlocking transitions. Expect to hear punishing industrial breakbeats, warbling acid lines, punchy mechanical beats, hypnotic atmospheres, and memorable melodies as the mood progresses from gritty minimalism to misty-eyed morning trance and beyond.

Conceived, arranged, mixed, and mastered by DJ Basilisk in Vancouver, Canada, November 2022. A one hour cut previously premiered as _The Psytech Observer 001_, part of a new show by Anyer Quantum (@anyer_quantum) on DHRK Radio (@dark-sonik).

Everything I did in the past 10 years was always about underground music, visual art, subculture, ethnology & technology. 

Being an autodidact since my introduction to computers & cybernetics, almost every aspect of my self was born from informal education and lifelong learning driven by my ongoing & self-motivated pursuit of knowledge. 

I've been involved in various multimedia projects ranging from digital art, printing, web development, blogging, event management, video projections & DJing which shaped my multidisciplinary expertise.

Over the years, I've been into all kind of music genres, especially punk, black metal, experimental, classical & psychedelic music, spending countless hours of research on ethnomusicology. 

I got involved in projects such as online forums, art community, webzine & label, either as the founder, art director and/or contributor. 

It allowed me to work directly with other artists, bands, musicians, event promoters, labels & collectives from all around the globe such as Zulutunes (South Africa), No Qualms (AUS), Glitchy.Tonic.Records (Germany), Insonitus Records (UK) and Kinematic Records (AUS). 

In 2013, I founded a multidisciplinary art & music collective, Voie Alternative, based in Eastern Canada, Quebec, which acts as a platform and a tool for the promotion & growth of our culture. 

A place where visual art, music & psychedelia are kings. So far, we have over 14 hours of exclusive music from talented producers & DJs from some of the most promising labels & collectives, associated with the new wave of psychedelic intelligent dance music. 

We recently started event productions, focusing on the alternative sub-genres of psytrance while encouraging the use of tools such as art, music & multimedia to strengthen our growing local cultural community & indirectly encouraging the growth of the worldwide psychedelic movement.

As a music enthusiast & DJ, my goal is to explore music productions that incorporate musical influences such as techno, progressive, organic, experimental, psychedelic, rhythmic and groovy elements throughout an unique story-telling auditive experience. 

In September 2015, I officially joined the rank of Insonitus Records as label DJ, visual artist & webmaster.

Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.
