I Belong

I really wanted to try and make a soul song that would be "northern soul danceable" so some lyrics and melodies popped into my head and the idea for this project was born. The lyrics come straight from my stressed out heart - driving in the UK is like this. I wish more people were considerate towards each other on the road as this selfish behaviour causes many dangerous situations and even fatal crashes. 
I used a suitable beat to make a start and Morten was happy to be involved and created a brilliant backing track (after multiple drafts that saw improvement step by step). And as the icing of a cake, Jörg came along and added his wonderful brass to uplift the song's energy further. Thank you for this lovely collab again!

Nights spent between worlds behind the decks and in front of - from Ibiza’s legendary Bora Bora and Space to underground sanctuaries like Robert Johnson, Airport and m>1 — shaped a unique sonic identity that bridges clarity and atmosphere, rhythm and reflection.

Each track tells a story — Cinematic Electronic Music yet minimal, emotional yet precise.

Inspired by timeless nights, shifting lights, and the subtle space between movement and stillness, #hinterwelt’s music creates a journey where the listener becomes part of the narrative.

I'm just up here, pressing play on some sexy ass beats.

I appreciate all kinds of music and go largely by emotion and mood to select what I listen to. Deep melodic & progressive house soothes my soul and through listening to this genre a lot, I started putting some beats together myself! I enjoy the process very much and hopefully I am progressing by the track.

I love making a connection with nature, visual arts and music and often add nature sounds into my tracks. I also find myself listening to all the sounds in nature with a musical ear now.

I have connected with many talented and passionate musicians recently, many of whom also share similar connection with nature which I find so uplifting. It gives me hope for the humanity.
