Pórvaldr [ˈtʰoːrˌval̠dʏr] is the solo project of Jonatan Thorvald, a deep exploration of psychedelic techno, in which he seeks to deliver electronic music in a storytelling, progressive and hypnotic approach. 

Pórvaldr reaps inspiration in nature, and the music is often written around the old northern ways fused with his own human experience, psychology and current perplex social and political situations around the globe.

Pórvaldr is an official label ambassador for legendary Techgnosis Records, a label on which he also compiles the V/A serie ”The Forest Ritual” - where he is trying to push and smash the boundaries of todays traditional psytech. 

Beyond the above mentioned, Pórvaldr is first of all a family father and social worker, but also an organizer, music booker, earth keeper, wizard and host at Forest Star Festival. (www.foreststar.se)
