One of my favorite songs from Bethel Music and I had to ask Catherine to sing on this. I think this might have been the first song I heard her lead for worship and I just had to have her lead on this.

Our heartfelt Song to you,  the Heavens, and All of Life.  

This delightful musical/spiritual collaboration unfolded so naturally, organically, and with such ease; the fruit of our mutual appreciation of each other's music over several years on SoundCloud.  In-deed, it was something magical that couldn't and wouldn't be rushed. :)  
So...
When my dear Norwegian friend and vocalist Oddrun Eikli   https://soundcloud.com/oddrun-eikli  let me know that she was really taken with my piano piece `Hymn To The Heavens'  @  https://soundcloud.com/gary-courtland-miles/hymns-to-the-heavens  I jumped at the chance to engage with her and sent the piano track immediately. 😁 Thankfully, she replied that as she had a special feeling for it, that she would love to try. And OMG, did she ever!  The result is a 50/50 collaboration that many listeners have described as 'Stunning'. I agree whole-heartedly.

Several months later, Oddrun wrote again, this time enclosing her Vocal tracks and a rough mix of how it sounded to her as a whole. Needless to say, she totally `blew me away`with the depth and beauty of her creative contribution.  I am still in awe of what she did. Here's what she said about the experience.  

    " I sing from the heart. 
       I have sung again and again until I found my way with the music. 
       It is a meditation, it is gratitude to what was, what is, and what is to come.
       I am so grateful for this journey in your music. 
       It has enriched my life. 
       With your wonderful music and this journey, I feel such joy and  
       tranquillity. W we will be best friends forever.

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by my page! In my earlier years here on the cloud, I did solo piano, unedited piano improvisations, now I'm branching out in to ambient piano and chillout, and getting in touch with my soulful style. 
I am from Jamaica, where gospel and reggae are so much apart of me, but I love electronic music much more, and I'm using the soulful part of gospel to connect with electronic music to make it really meaningful.
