Dave Wade, AKA Pimp Nickle, AKA Lemonade, AKA Hand Grenade, AKA Instagrams: Big Cotton Razor, AKA Moonbase, AKA Subdub and occasionally, Travis Davis of the country monstrosity Mark Twang is, a multi-talented musician with a career spanning over three decades. He's known for his skills as a bassist, both live and in the studio, across a range of genres. But it's his live reggae bass performances that have taken him to some of the biggest stages in the country, including the Bob Marley Festival where he performed for a decade. On stage, he works the crowd like a rodeo clown, bringing energy and excitement to his performances.

In addition to his bass playing, Wade is also a skilled songwriter and lead vocalist. His songs draw on a variety of influences, from reggae and funk to rock and jazz. It's this versatility that has allowed him to collaborate with some of the best musicians in Arizona.

One of Wade's early gigs was with the Arizona band Cosmos, where he played for ten years, honing his skills as a musician and performer. The band played Greek, Turkish, and Arabic standards in an updated, danceable fusion style, often featuring other world musicians, belly dancers, and fire performers.

Wade's journey has not been without its challenges. He's faced setbacks and unexpected enemies in the music world, including reggae legends Rita Marley and Judy Mowatt, who have expressed their displeasure with him. He has also been fired by Peter Cetera and Reggie Vinson in separate incidents, though the reasons for the firings remain unknown.

Despite these challenges, Wade remains optimistic and fearless. As he once said, "Fear nothing, there's nothing running around down here but regular humans just like you." This attitude has helped him to persevere through setbacks and continue making music.

And make music he does. Wade's passion for music has led him to work with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Alice Cooper's songwriter, Reggie Vincent. He's also opened for Tony Orlando and Burning Spear, and indirectly saved Jewel from being abducted. Though HR from Bad Brains still owes him a cool hundred bucks, Wade continues to make music and live his dream.

Wade's anti-smoking PSA, which ran in Arizona, California, and New York for seven years, is another notable achievement. Through this campaign, he used his platform to promote a healthier lifestyle and encourage others to quit smoking tobacco and smoke more weed. 

Wade is a big fan of Jaco Pastorius and Bob Marley, and has drawn inspiration from their work throughout his career. He once quoted, "I'm interested in anything I can't immediately count," showing his eagerness to explore new musical territories.

In the end, it's clear that Dave Wade's musical journey is far from over. He's a multi-talented musician, a skilled songwriter and performer, and a true survivor in the music industry. And who knows what kind of wild adventures he'll get up to next? Only time will tell.
