MEICRDON affectionately known as Ash is a visual artist, DJ, and electronic music producer from Wrexham, North Wales. He’s one half of DIM OND DAWNS, the DJ duo with long-time friend Hugo, known for their electrifying sets and uplifting parties across the North West.

Ash is also a driving force behind THREEFOLD PRODUCTIONS, a collaboration with Hugo and Dan that brings electronic events to life with stunning video mapping and lighting. As a solo artist, he creates under the name PANORAMA MAPPING (aka Meicrodon), transforming spaces with experimental visuals and projection art that sync with sound.

Recently, Ash co-founded Wearewired.live, a not-for-profit platform dedicated to supporting electronic artists and visual creatives in North Wales. Their flagship event WIRED — an open mic night for modular artists, producers, synth heads, and visual experimenters — runs at Tŷ Pawb in Wrexham and invites everyone to share their sound, ideas, and energy.

Ash’s work is all about collaboration, creativity, and keeping the underground alive.

Born and raised in Lisbon in 1980 in the midst of the golden era of Techno, the emerge of electronic music on the comercial charts, arcades and the first computer games ever created so electronic sounds and music was present from a very young age. 

Worked in record distributors and shops in his 20´s and Dj´ed many years in Brighton (UK) and a bit allover England until his early 30´s. Has DJ´ed in Brazil, Cannary Islands, England and Ibiza to name a few and his style is as broad as his mind and covers from beat-less and ambient soundscapes to Industrial Techno, Acid and everything in between. For many years his most loved genres and go to styles have been more on the breaks and broken techno side with some Electro and Techno thrown in for good measure, creating a varied and interesting journey and making sure the style and vibe changes along the way and he covers as many genres as he can throw in without loosing the flow and vibe of the dancefloor. 

Has been making music since the early 90´s and finishing tracks since early 00´s, has releases on Naked Lunch, T1, Ovelha Trax and Elberec, and a few releases coming out soon. 

Recently has been focusing on his live act and touring it around his loved hometown.
