Thank you so much for listening to the In Bloom album! 

Creating this album has been greater than working on a piece of art. Just after starting this album I suffered a very intense concussion that left me unable to produce music for more than a few minutes a day. The concussion lasted 6 months and only healed at the end of last month. I eventually learned to battle the symptoms and let my creativity build from them. It was still very difficult, but it was enough to put the album together. - I also had to stop playing soccer which I was planning to play in college and possibly beyond. As heartbreaking as it was, it has left me in a situation to fully focus on music. This album therefore represents a transition in my life that I have grown from as a person and as an artist.

The last few months I have seen substantial progress as an artist, in my creativity and my ability. I will only continue to make more progress as I pursue audio production for a living. Thank you for all your support. Go listen to the album and support everyone who was involved!

A message from Scott/Dystany:
Stars means more to me than any other song I've ever written or produced or had any part in. Stars is my last cry for help. I've been depressed almost nonstop for nearly two years at this point. The earth has become a living hell for me, and I felt that no one has been there for me and truly cared almost the entire time. I've felt that my life was futile multiple times and even just two or three days ago I wanted to end my life by jumping off a bridge, and I could've. But I didn't. When I went home that day, I did nothing but cry. The next day at night I got the same feeling, and I cut myself again. I told Ben (FlowSquire) that I did it, and he told the entire Darker Skies staff team, and it really saved me. I had never felt so loved in my entire life before. I hope you enjoy Stars with all my heart, as it has my life inside the song. Thank you so much for reading all of this.

when you’re so alienated the only person that can tell you, that you’ll be aight, is yourself. I hope this song helps people that are dealing with depression and can alleviate kids that are feeling like an outsider. I have felt very alone in the past, but that doesn’t mean that things can’t get better. I hope this song gives hope because mental health is a marathon. You need to work on it every day.”
