DJ GOGY, currently residing in Egypt, was born in 1989 in the United Arab Emirates. He began interacting and connecting with music from childhood, and started going to electronic music events and clubs at a young age. From there he began to make his favourite playlists and mixing. In his sets, he combines sounds that express himself and that of nature, to create an impression of satisfaction. His education is in electrical engineering and computer control, as well as being self-taught in sound engineering and music, driven from passion.

Welcome to the underground of the Portuguese underground. Not necessarily the oldest members, but at least among the most active and the most honest, because WTVR and 451F are the kind of artists who are involved, not to say committed, in their artistic approach and in all their cultural activism. Whether it's a career as a “pyromaniac” visual artist or one made up of encounters and accidents, these two producers certainly share a desire to defy the boundaries between genres, both thirsting for sonic experimentation.

So, is it still footwork? Is it still jungle? Or halftime? Or breakcore? Not really... and a bit of all that at the same time. And that's what makes this production so interesting. So, let's experiment!

Ten years of productions, releases from 2016 on more and more prestigious labels (Eddy Larkin, Rawax, R&S), and an irrepressible need to broadcast sound despite the context led A-Sim to launch its label, Human Disease Network last June. A DIY formula, 100% digital, fast and efficient. Six releases already, two or three others are planned for the moment...On September 18th, he released the compilation Rennes All Stars which gathers the cream of the Rennes producers on 11 tracks oscillating between house, electro and techno. This accomplished DJ and producer is above all a fan of hybrid and unbridled, intelligent, even ironic music.

Of course, he grabs the turntables at the end of the show for an explosive electro break set.

It is not commonly known that part of our roots and early influences before our inception in 2010, came from the soaring DnB scene in Newcastle, circa 2000-2005. A big character from the scene back then was our good friend and long-standing resident @dan-taylor-28 aka DT. It is with pride that we bring you Dan's lethal Drum n Bass set, which we feel signifies this part our history and pays special homage to these memorable times. 

After a life dedicated to the rave scene in the North, Dan gained extensive knowledge of the history of Hardcore, Oldskool, Jungle, Drum n Bass and Hip Hop, and eventually decided to take the step into DJing. Upon moving to London in 2012, at the same time we began our journey here, Dan cemented his residency for Natural Selection and has formed a key part of many of our raves and parties and became a solid part of our family.

We are ecstatic to have Dan provide such a well informed selection for our DECENNIUM series, consisting of a diverse range of technical Drum n Bass, meticulously curated and delicately mixed. Keep you ears to the ground for future Natural Selection sets from Dan, when we can finally pick up where we left off.
