Bartek has always been interested in electronic music, but he got a taste of real techno when, at the age of 17, he attended a party where Carla Roca, a legend of the Polish scene, was playing. 
When he heard those repetitive mechanical sounds, he knew he would be staying with them for a long time. A very long time 🙂
From that moment on, without closing himself off to other genres, he moved from techno through D'n'B, psytrace, hardtek, to the heaviest varieties of hardcore.
In 2025, he made his debut on the Warsaw techno scene as Rétnik.
His sets have two faces:
The first is ‘softer’, where he plays hypnotic rhythms with elements of groove and old hardtracks around 148bpm. 
The second is uncompromising. Here we hear fast, powerful Hardtechno, Schranz and Industrial.
