Louise Rutkowski's career began as a backing singer, along with sister Dee, with The Jazzateers, for legendary Scottish label Postcard Records.

The Rutkowski Sisters went on to form Sunset Gun with co-writer Ross Campbell, signing to CBS Records in the 1980s; working with soul producer Pete Wingfield and Alan Rankine of The Associates.  They thereafter lent their ethereal vocals to 4AD Records' collective This Mortal Coil, garnering an international following. 

Louise's distinctive voice can also be heard on the This Mortal Coil follow-up project, The Hope Blister.

In the early 1990s, as part of The Kindness of Strangers, a one-album project with composer Craig Armstrong and playwright Peter Arnott, Louise was lead vocalist on "Hope", released on Interscope Records.  The album included mixes by Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and Nellee Hooper (Soul II Soul, Madonna, Bjork).

Louise's first solo album, "Diary of a Lost Girl", co-written with Irvin Duguid, was released in February 2014.  Her second, “Home”, is due for release in 2020.

Caroline Gilmour is a songwriter, musician, podcast presenter and creative from Edinburgh, Scotland.

Caroline's music has featured on television, radio, podcasts and online video content. As a solo singer-songwriter, Caroline achieved a UK No.1 Single in the Official Charts Company Vinyl Singles Chart with her independently released EP ‘Electric Waterfalls’ on UK Record Store Day 2016.  The EP also reached No. 2 in the Physical Singles Chart

She is now one half of pop duo The Eves with Marissa Keltie.   Their explosion onto the music scene as a combined force in 2018 has established them as one of the UK’s most promising and exciting songwriting duos.

In the charity sector, Caroline is Patron of the 6VT Edinburgh City Youth Cafe - an Edinburgh-based charity specialising in providing support for young people from all walks of life.  
 
She also assists the dog rescue charity 'Pico's Pack' with her Eve's partner Marissa - helping to raise awareness and funds to care for the street dogs in Belgrade, Serbia.

Scottish pop duo ‘The Eves’ are Marissa Keltie and Caroline Gilmour, one of the UK’s most promising emerging pop acts and songwriting duos in recent years with their stand-out brand of uplifting, melodic pop.

Single releases 'We're On Fire', ‘Big Love’ and ‘Brand New Day’ commanded attention from mainstream national radio stations, with all tracks being played on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Scotland.  The tracks have also featured heavily on regional and online playlists worldwide.  

Self-penned ‘Brand New Day’ spent a stunning 5 weeks on the BBC Radio 2 playlist.  After starting out as ‘New to 2” on Ken Bruce, the track made it onto the C list before being promoted to the B list, with plays across the station shows including The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, Claudia Winkleman, Steve Wright, OJ Borg and Rylan on Saturday amongst others.

The track was also made ‘Single of the Week’ on BBC Radio Scotland, played on Bauer Media’s Forth 1 radio station, reached No. 6 and No. 15 in the iTunes pop charts and iTunes main download chart respectively, charted in the Amazon ‘New Hot Releases’ UK Chart, and made an impressive debut in the UK Official Charts Company download and single charts in the top 65.  The track also features on an episode of ‘The Kardashians’ on Disney Plus and Hulu across America. 

‘Big Love’ was given the prestige of being adopted as the official anthem for Scottish Women’s Football for the 2022/2023 League Season, and was the pair’s first release as a co-write, written with Jim Duguid (Paolo Nutini) and producer Lewis Gardiner (Ellie Goulding, Nick Jonas).  The track was also featured on BBC Scotland’s most popular football show ‘Off the Ball’ with Tam Cowan and Stuart Cosgrove.

In terms of live performances, the pair are seasoned performers having opened for a raft of major global artists at sold out shows including Belinda Carlisle, Sister Sledge, and The Shires.  They’ve toured extensively with Skerryvore and Horse across the UK, opened for Callum Beattie, and have performed at festivals including TRSNMT, Country to Country, Edge Fest, Tiree Festival, Moonbeams and Fringe by the Sea, sharing stages with Wet Wet Wet, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Gabrielle, Tony Hadley and Heather Small.

Other highlights include performing at the Guinness Six Nations rugby for Scotland v Wales at BT Murrayfield, recording a live session for BBC Scotland’s ‘The Quay Sessions’, and several TV appearances on BBC Scotland’s ‘The Edit’ on national TV and BBC i-Player and STV’s ‘What’s On’ and ‘The Braw and the Brave’ chat show.

Highly versatile and accomplished musicians, songwriters and performers, Marissa and Caroline are also number one artists in their own right. 
Caroline achieved a UK No.1 with her self-penned and self-released EP ‘Electric Waterfalls’ in 2016. It made the top spot in the UK Official Charts Company Vinyl Singles Chart on Record Store Day that year. It also reached No.2 in the UK Official Charts Physical Singles Chart.  

Marissa is a multi-instrumentalist and composer, achieving a No.1 single in the iTunes Classical Music chart in 2022 with her piano composition ‘River and Reign’. She is also an established voiceover artist and commercial model. Her voiceover clients include Grammy Nominated American DJ ‘Illenium’, where she was the voice of the Narrator on the ‘Starfall’ animated movie which featured music from Nina Nesbitt, Travis Barker and Avril Lavigne, Universal Music Group, BBC Scotland, Bauer Media, Johnnie Walker Whisky and The Scottish Government 

Working for the world-renowned Model Team agency, Marissa has appeared in many campaigns for clients including Bentley, Tennent’s Lager, British Airways, Scottish Opera, and Heineken.

In the charity sector, Caroline is Patron of the 6VT Edinburgh City Youth Cafe - a charity specialising in providing support to young people from all walks of life. Marissa also assists the charity with running music workshops.

The duo also set up and run the U.K side of dog rescue organisation Pico’s Pack - raising awareness and funds to care for abandoned and abused dogs in Serbia.

Forthcoming performances and projects: 
The duo released their new 4-track EP ‘Both Sides’ on 8th November 2024.  This was co-written and produced by Dan Gautreau who has previously worked on projects with Alicia Keys, Zayn Malik, Paolo Nutini, Seal and George Michael.  Single and title track 'Both Sides' features drums by Snow Patrol's Ash Soan.
