Ben Klock introduces Greek-raised, Moscow-based artist Stef Mendesidis for the next Klockworks release. Mendesidis delivers 3 original tracks utilising solely analogue gear to produce soundscapes inspired by cinematic scenes. These sounds transport the listener through resonating grooves and classy chords that fit the signature Klockworks sound. Focusing mainly on his machines for the craft of his music, Mendesidis recorded all cuts in one take. To celebrate his EP release, he will join of the Klockworks showcase at Berghain on December 29th.

French duo Laval returns to Pär Grindvik's Stockholm LTD imprint, 'Origins' is taking place as a follow up to their well-acclaimed 'Cold Hearts' album, released early 2018. Laval has had a brilliant rise since surfacing on Stockholm LTD in 2017, now they serve up the label's last release of the year.

Three years after the original's release, new life is given to 747's widely acclaimed neoclassic acid anthem, Aurora Centralis. The uplifting track, characterized by its iconic singing 303, is revisited by four masterful artists: Schacke, Tin Man, nthng and Primal Code, each bringing a unique take. 

Opening the release, Schacke delivers a fast and euphoric revamp with an infectious groove and floaty atmosphere, while modern acid legend, Tin Man, executes a flawless take embellished with lush pads and deft 303 work. 

Introducing the B side, nthng's vehement rendition is fierce and ethereal in a way only he can deliver - wish granted. To close, Primal Code bring a hypnotic version with an atmospheric ambiance and a nod to the original through dreamy gliding acid notes.

In 2013 I will give away 13 tracks (fully mastered 16 bit 44.1 kHz wav files) from my archives as a 'thank you' for all the support you have given me over the years. All these tracks have their own story and haven't been released before for various reasons. I thought it would be a waste to have them collect dust on my harddrive and not share them with you. Please read the full story and some little things I ask of you, before you proceed to download. Enjoy!

I made track number #2 'Mood Elevator' in 2004 and it was supposed to come out on German label Unleash Records. For reasons that are still not clear to me, it never did. Luckily the title of the tune found good use since 2005 as an event//concept I organize with my buddies Brent Roozendaal and Pitto. So all is well that ends well. 
Hope this melodic tech house track will elevate your mood!

Rekids label boss Radio Slave ventures further into unknown territory in a three-part sophomore album entitled ‘Radio Silence’ with the first instalment dropping in June.

Stretching nearly two decades, Matt Edwards’s discography is staggering with releases on labels like Running Back, R&S, Ostgut Ton, Nonplus and Figure, not to mention his illustrious imprint Rekids which has been instrumental in supporting the music and careers of incendiary artists over the years, including Nina Kraviz, Mr. G, DJ Deep, Nic Fanciulli, Peggy Gou, Laurent Garnier, Spencer Parker and many more.

Although he’s released multiple albums under different guises it was only until 2017 that the debut Radio Slave album, ‘Feel The Same’, was released. Now, the renowned UK artist delivers his latest body of work in the form of his ‘Radio Silence’ album, which will be dropping in not one, but three parts.

The first chapter features perhaps the most leftfield tracks we’ve ever heard Radio Slave product, even hitting 150BPM on closing track ‘SYD’. There’s a rawness to the album, which is in part due to the fact each track was recorded live and without edits using hardware and Ableton as the main sequencer.

Across the seven tracks, Radio Slave hone’s in on a sound that’s haunting and hypnotic. Opening track ‘Ghost’ is punctuated by lingering synths, while ‘Cell’ introduces pummelling kicks that will do damage on a big system. ‘Contact’ bleeps and glitches before making way for blaring horn-like synths, and ‘ZQU’ is a masterclass in mind-bending techno. Elsewhere, closing track ‘SYD’ delivers on every level, thanks to uncompromising 150BPM realness.
