Epoca - GOTAN Project/BANDONEON Square

Bandoneon Square je sastav koji je nastao početkom 2012. godine u Banjaluci. U svom kratkom periodu postojanja održali smo nekoliko koncerata  od kojih vrijedi istaknuti samostalni koncert u Prijedoru u okviru seminara za harmoniku, učešće na Svjetskom danu muzike održanom 21.06. 2014. godine u Banjaluci, samostalni koncert na Hercegovačkoj Gračanici u Trebinju, solistički koncert 04. 03. 2015. godine, pred prepunom salom Banskog dvora, u organizaciji UMURS-a, solistički koncert 26.07.2015. u Tesliću, solistički koncert 23. 05.2016. u Pozorište Prijedor, 11.8. 2017. "ART dvorište" (Banski dvor), Banja Luka, te mnogobrojne klupske svirke.  Sastav izvodi kompozicije Astora Piazzolle, Richarda Galliana, Pata Matheny-ja, Roland Dyensa, GOTAN Projecta i drugih uticajnih kompozitora i umjetnika te nas tako sama raznovrsnost programa ne svrstava ni u jednu specifičnu muzičku kategoriju nego se taj spektar melodija I ritmova širi od klasike, tanga pa sve do džeza.

Bandoneon square is a rather unorthodox musical ensemble that was formed in the beggining of 2012 in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska (Bosnia). Its vivid crew consists of five artists, each of them putting a unique touch on band's overall performance. In its short, yet fruitful existence Bandoneon square has held quite a few concerts at various venues. The most memorable ones would certainly be Sarajevska Zima festival in Sarajevo 2016; Dani Vlade Milosevica festival in Banja Luka 2017; solo concert at the accordion seminar in Prijedor; the 2015 solo concert at Banski Dvor in Banja Luka in front of a sold-outcrowd; performance at the World Music Day event in Banja Luka which took place on June 21st, 2012; solo concert at Hercegovacka Gracanica church estate in Trebinje, as well as many other club style appearances. They can hardly be categorized into any specific genre of music, as their flamboyant and exotic style is rather a mixture of different influences. The fact that they cover artists such as Astor Piazzola, Richard Galliano, Pat Matheny, GOTAN Project and Roland Dyens, as well as other infuental and recognized artists and authors, shows that their versatilty can't be specifically classified. Hence, their sounds is a spectrum of melodies and rhythms that vary from classical music to more contemporary styles such as tango and jazz.
