2013 saw Silicone Soul celebrating the 10th Anniversary of their Darkroom Dubs imprint. Launched in Glasgow back in 2003, the DRD stamp has become a mark of quality and seen many established names exploring deeper realms whilst also unearthing fresh and exciting global talent. 

From Fabric to Watergate, The Standard Rooftop to Club Bahrein Buenos Aires, the Scottish duo have celebrated their disco-decade with a string of '10 Year' parties spread across the last 12 months, building on Darkroom Dubs already strong global reach. 

To round off their birthday in style Craig and Graeme have asked some of the label's main acts and strongest supporters to contribute a track for a new compilation. Artists including jozif, Ryan Crosson, Uner, Gary Beck, Of Norway, and Simon Garcia all feature in the collection that Silicone Soul present as a snapshot of the future sound and musical vision of Darkroom Dubs. 

Due for release Feb 24th 2014 on double 12" vinyl and download.

Big sound camps like DISTRIKT are always a ton of work but last year DISTRIKT brought an incredibly ambitious setup that sounded, looked and felt amazing. Those of us that were there were really given quite a treat. I’m so grateful to get to play in such an ideal set up in such an insanely challenging setting. With 2023 being such a particularly epic year I’m extra glad to have this recording that so quickly brings back the feeling for me of that beautiful night. For those who were there I hope this tickles your memories the same way it does mine and for those who weren’t I’m glad you can join for the ride. Massive thanks to Ben and the entire DISTRIKT crew who worked so hard to make this happen. You guys are legends and the true stars of this show.

Captain Mustache is a French music producer and DJ from Paris.

Since 2020, he has released music on some of the most respected labels in the electronic scene: Kompakt, Mobilee, Exploited, Permanent Vacation, Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder, and an album on John Digweed's Bedrock Records, with consistent support from top DJ's around the world.

As a true electronic music lover, he has collaborated with some electro icons (Dave Clarke, Arnaud Rebotini, Chicks on Speed, The Advent, Keith Tucker from AUX88...), adding an extra vocal dimension to his music.

In 2023 he reached a career milestone with a full album called "The Super Album" on the legendary label KOMPAKT Records, with the privilege to join the short list of artists having signed an LP on this label, such as Kölsch, Agents Of Time or WhoMadeWho.

In 2025 he's coming with a new album called "LUZ" on beloved Berlin's label MOBILEE, a new achievement for him as an artist and a special step in his career.

He is now widely recognized for several standout tracks:
