 After a strong run of releases on Secret Fusion, Nothing Is Real, and Sprechen earlier this year,
NYC-based producer Evan Michael now lands on HIFI/LOFI Records with his Modern Life EP
— a forward-thinking five-track journey that drifts from dreamy house to cosmic indie dance, with
subtle shades of melancholy woven throughout.

Having spent the past decade deeply immersed in New York’s nightlife, Evan has supported many
of the city’s most vital independent clubs while absorbing their eclectic soundscapes. That
experience has sharpened his ear for house and techno — a sensibility he now channels into
productions that move seamlessly between retroism and futurism, all in his uniquely personal way.

The release is elevated by standout remixes from trailblazer Maruwa, a Robert Johnson club
resident whose rising profile spans releases on Steel City Dance Discs and XKalay, delivering a
deeper, more minimalistic, and irresistibly groovy reinterpretation of the original. Meanwhile,
acclaimed producer Le Chev — trusted studio collaborator of LP Giobbi and cowriter/producer
for artists like Fischerspooner, SOFI TUKKER, Jake Shears, and more — brings a bold injection of
deep house and melodic progressive grandeur, flirting with Organic House undertones to expand
Evan’s vision.

Berlin’s Tal Fussman returns to Rekids with the ‘Walking on Mars’ EP, releasing 7th November 2025. It follows the Survival Tactics boss’ recent album on Binh’s Time Passages, as well as his ‘Definition’ (2024) and ‘I Feel’ (2025) EPs on Rekids, with Fussman’s fresh spin on classic House and Techno winning support from the likes of Raresh, Cromby, DVS1, Saoirse, Carista, Honey Dijon, and many more.

The ‘Walking on Mars’ EP opens with ‘Crystallized’, a cavernous cut exclusive to 12”, where Tal Fussman pares back his signature percussive style in favor of a rolling groove set against a deep, atmospheric backdrop. ‘Who’s Who?’ follows, its wild sequences and skewed drumlines colliding in restless motion, before giving way to ‘Sea of Blue’, a pure rhythmic trip infused with dub textures and a hypnotic, evocative vocal sample.

The title track, ‘Walking on Mars’, drives forward on hard-hitting drums that gradually unfold into a soulful house melody, setting the stage for ‘Knowledge_Machine’, a razor-sharp electro finale of snaking synths and an apt robotic vocal. Fussman’s versatility shines throughout, with the EP already winning support from Antal, Rene Wise, Marcel Dettmann, and Fred P.

Founded in 2006, Radio Slave’s Rekids has since launched the Techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its latest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been instrumental in developing emerging artists and remains a trusted home for House and adjacent sounds, recently featuring names such as Hilit Kolet, Frankey & Sandrino, Mathias Kaden, Huxley, and many more.

Suba (Kyrgyzstan) with ""Enchantment”  invites us into a slower, deeper state of movement: a Hypnotic Reverie. Drawing on hypnotic tribal rhythms, the track builds on the waves of percussive trance, a spell woven from sharp beats and drone textures unfolding. The first glimpse into our 13th Altered States compilation is a captivating call to the dance floor.

Millhouse (US) maps the thermodynamics of the dance floor with “Heat Exchange” to induce the state of Kinetic resonance. This cosmic Italo disco exploration translates the push and pull of energy into a tapestry of bassline and melody, resulting in a sound that feels both universally familiar and thrillingly new.

Sarv's (Palestine) "Shartan" evokes a state of Cathartic Resistance. A story forged by Sarv in a shelter under missile fire, the track is a powerful synthesis of Eastern Mediterranean soul: a driving bassline, the strum of a Turkish baglama, and choked Greek vocals that plead, “Help me, feed me, I cannot move, freely, dive deep inside the hive.” It is a dark, hypnotic dance between survival and creation, where ancient arches frame a modern struggle, and movement becomes an act of defiance.

SPEYS's (Poland)  "Breeze" evokes a state of Liminal Serenity. Inspired by a fresh spring gust, the track explores an appealing, undefined space between sonic landscapes. It is a cohesive musical ritual that captures the feeling of a gentle threshold, a moment of organic calm suspended between rhythmic definitions.

Jabba 2.3 (France) “What do i want” evokes a state of Sensory Alchemy. It begins with a vocal sample he long coveted, transformed through a slower, psychedelic lens. The introduction of undulating acid loops acts as the catalyst, turning the familiar into a trance of new sonic experience.

Misata's (Russia) "Crystal Error Memory" evokes a state of Lucid Recall. Inspired by the fragility and distortion of memories, the track uses a deep bassline for rhythm and sharp acid lines to create tension, perfectly capturing the sensation of a past moment surfacing with vivid yet altered clarity.

The New York-born, New Jersey-based Avision lands on Radio Slave’s Rekids sublabel REK’D for the first time with the ‘Get Down’ EP, arriving 14th November 2025. The title track emanates pure NYC soul, pairing uplifting vocals with euphoric energy, while ‘Papi’ moves into deeper territory, its stripped-back groove and shadowy stabs giving way to flickers of funky, jazz-tinged warmth.

Emerging from New York’s club culture, Avision broke through with his ‘Excess’ EP on Beardman Records in 2018 and has since released on Ellum Audio, Crosstown Rebels, Cocoon, and Black Book Records, alongside his own MATTER+ label, which he runs with his cousin Victor Calderone.
Matt Edwards launched REK’D in October 2024 to release no-nonsense house music without the limitations of parent label Rekids. It has since become a home for dancefloor-focused EPs from artists including St. David, Uncertain, James Juke, James Curd, Ketiov, and more.

Luca Venezia, aka Curses, has always worn his passion for early underground club music on his sleeve. With the Tutto Vetro project, he taps into the late '80s and early '90s sounds of Valencia, Frankfurt, and NYC.

A moment when trance, post-EBM, and Detroit techno merged to create something raw, emotional, and futuristic.

The new EP, Trust The Beat, is a love letter to that fleeting but powerful sound. When artists like Umo Detic, Robotiko Rejekto, and New Scene were blurring lines between Electro, Progressive, and EBM, and the influence of Detroit and New York was having a heavy influence on the German underground. Before genres split and made their title, there was a little magic, and Venezia captures that essence throughout this record, pushing it forward for a new generation.

Wrong Era co-captain Fabrizio Mammarella delivers a relentless, no-holds-barred remix of ""Wild Things,"" reminding us why he’s a master of the sound.

With just one previous release under the Tutto Vetro alias on Spain’s Megebreakz (Oráculo), this marks a return to familiar territory for Venezia.

Venezia's 2015 So Strange EP helped shape the Curses sound and cemented a lasting bond with the Slow Motion / Wrong Era family.
