For our 21st edition of Mavrica Tech, we present an underground act called Sensory Atmospheres. Sensory Atmospheres is a musical project created in mid-2021 in the city of Bogota, Colombia thanks to the union of the music producer Alejandro Uribe and DJ Juan Prieto. In their sets and productions, they seek to create spatial and mental atmospheres accompanied by the groove of percussion and bass.

Their sound is a mixture and exploration through the house, microhouse, minimal house, and minimal.

In the early hours of Friday morning, from 7 to 9 am, I had the honour of gracing the stage of this iconic festival – a place that holds a special place in my heart since my first visit in 2001. Fusion has always been the epitome of what a festival should be, and being invited to play on the main stage was a dream coming true.

For this sunrise set, I didn't go straight for the heavy bangers. Instead, I carefully curated a selection of tracks that were meant to ignite that special colourful energy as the festival prepared to take it´s morning rest soon. This set is a mix of vinyl gems, with a few digital exclusives sprinkled in. This warmth and authenticity of vinyl mixing, especially that magical low end quality, on a sound system like Lambda Labs, takes precedence over the perfectly polished digital mixes.

I really hope you have a great time with this set, just like I did when I played it. Unfortunately, we hit some technical snags at the beginning, so that part got cut off...

Con un enfoque en géneros como Hypnotic, Detroit Techno, IDM y Electro, Daniel ha logrado captar la atención internacional gracias a sus sets innovadores y atmosféricos. Su habilidad para mezclar secuencias abstractas y overdrops vanguardistas transporta al público a un viaje sonoro experimental y creativo.

Desde sus inicios, Daniel ha compartido escenario con reconocidos artistas como Angy Kore, Gabriel Padrevita y Parallx, destacándose por su participación en festivales destacados como Bogotrax. Además de su trabajo como DJ y productor, Daniel es parte del equipo de Analog Vice Studios en Bogotá, donde no solo produce música sino que también ofrece servicios como ingeniero de mezcla y masterización. A través de clases personalizadas, comparte su conocimiento y pasión por la música electrónica, contribuyendo al desarrollo de nuevos talentos en la escena local e internacional.

Es un honor tener a este talento de la capital en Aural con este set cargado de atmósferas bastante hipnóticas y envolventes.
