Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, with the proposal of make an aggressive, brutal, yet melodic and technical music, DARKTOWER unites influences ranging from Black and Death Metal to Traditional Heavy Metal. 
After touring extensively through several Brazilian states and had played with many renowned bands from both national and global scene such as Marduk (SWE), Hate (POL) Otargos (FRA), the band is being consolidated more and more as one of the most promising revelations of the extreme scene of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil also. 
After releasing the demo "SPECTERS ARRIVAL" and the Singles "LORD OV THE VASTLANDS" and "RETALIATION", all of them earning spectacular reactions from both public and specialized media, the band released on Brazilian market their long anticipated debut album called  "...OF CHAOS AND ASCENCION", by the label Eternal Hatred with distribution of Voice Music and Mutilation Records.
The work is achieving great response from the specialized media, with great reviews inside and outside their country, and was nominated as one of the best Brazilian releases of 2013 in several Brazilian and international websites and magazines.
 The band is currently in the road promoting their current release, the music video of the song “Dawn of Darkened Times”, and preparing for new steps in their career like performing tours in Europe and South America.
