Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Canadian duo Orphx (Sonic Groove / HANDS).

Orphx have been creating their unique fusion of rhythm and noise since the mid 90s, combining elements of techno with the experimental techniques and critical spirit of industrial music.
The project was founded in 1993 by Rich Oddie, Christina Sealey, and Aron West, who began creating improvised soundscapes and audio/visual performances inspired by early industrial music, grindcore, and power electronics. 
Following cassette releases on their own Xcreteria label, West departed to focus on absurdist noise project Tropism while Oddie and Sealey began to push Orphx in a more rhythmic direction. 
Their distinctive sound used powerful layered rhythms, modulating soundscapes, and processed vocals and samples to explore themes of psychological conflict and social control. 

Orphx have refined their sound across numerous releases and many changes in tools and techniques, moving from reel to reel tape machines and homemade instruments to software sequencing and processing, and then back again to hardware following Sealey's adoption of modular synthesizers in 2008. 
Oddie and Sealey are renowned for delivering improvised live performances that combine modular synth, drum machines, software, and live vocals. 
They have toured throughout Europe, North America, Japan, and China, appearing at international festivals such as Berlin Atonal, Katharsis, Labyrinth, Mutek Montréal, Rural, and Unsound, and regularly performing at techno temples such as Berghain / Panorama Bar, Tresor, and KHIDI. 

Their work has been featured in films and documentaries, including I Dream of Wires (2014) and Soundtrack for the Urban Decay (2015). 
In recent years, they have been working on new audio-visual performances using infrasound and multi-channel speaker systems, working in collaboration with video artist Patrick Trudeau and McMaster University's Institute for Music and the Mind.

Mina Lord is producing electronic music since 2017 after being a drummer in grunge, punk and metal bands. Utilized a whole spectrum of music expression in her own productions she creates whole worlds and atmospheres for the audience to dive in to. A deep interest in the interaction of visuals, space and sound, results in linking these elements together right at the foundation of a project. In December 2019 she had the debut event of her own music and art collective The Twelve Prophets, where she invites and collaborates with other artists to explore the link between music, visuals, technology and space.

Emerging from the rave scene, NƵM 99 is driven by a dark and acid techno with heavy and powerful basses, he likes to wow the crowds with his fingertips. 
A hyperactive producer, he created his own label Tjalk Records as a tribute to his boat on which he lives.
From his teenage years, he draws his influences from the rave party movement as well as from the tracks of Arnaud Rebotini, THE HACKER, Terence Fixmer and David Carretta.
At the age of 19, he bought his first analogue machines and never stopped enriching his set up as soon as the opportunity arose.
Fascinated by the warm grain of old synthesizers, he cultivates a techno with EBM tones that bewitches dance floors.
Today we are ecstatic to bring you this powerful one hour mix which showcases hishis heavy & crushing sound!

Musician and activist since the first appearance of underground parties called Raves, Umwelt has never stopped to propagate a fierce, raw and analog sound supported by a voracious passion for electronic music. Founder of Rave Or Die and New Flesh Records imprint, Umwelt counts about forty releases to date, raising him among the most prolific French electronic producers. 

Long spent outside the radar, this adept of ferocious distortions tinted with sweet melancholy delivered in 2016 his second album, titled “Days Of Dissent” on Boidae. The opus was highly appreciated by the public and acclaimed by Press which considers it as an electro reference.
Drawing his path with instinct, the Lyon based artist, a vinyl and analog freak, continues the work of early pioneers by a wild and straight on the dancefloor mode of transport, while progressively leading the listener into dark, melancholic, dancing and mental atmospheres, he alone totally controls the side effects.

Born in Miami but moved to Berlin, Blush Response reveals that his aka comes from the futuristic Blade Runner movie.

His path as producer is filled by significant releases, many of them in forward thinking labels as Aufname Wiedergabe, Sonic Groove or Ant-Zen, and recently he also launched his own imprint called Megastructure.

Sometimes there’s a pressure, a feeling, a need for exploration that can come up for several reasons. Be it intuitive, impulsive or not, the feeling is always satisfying. His creative journey offers him a dive in some new forms of sound. Ingna brings here a part of what his ear are pleased with. Not conformist, he does his best to fulfill his thirst of exploration. 
This EP, last minute exploration, is not uniform and is not meant to be. Time pressure in a call never turns down a challenge. 
After searching what could be sound to him in terms of electronic music production, Ingna is going towards his love for techno after having participated in the club scene where he started working years ago.
