This 2hr recording was not created to impress with mixing abilities. If anything, most of the tracks in this mix I have left intact for the most part. 

This was created to express emotion. A journey expressing a certain way of feeling and being, explained through layers of soundscapes and vibrations. A place where words cannot reach. 


I hope this musical sound expedition connects somewhere within you, and that you can gain something from it.

Darkwood is the darkpsy/forest/experimental psy project birthed by Aidan. Growing up with parents having roots in the psy scene, I have always enjoyed psychedelic music from a young age. I really enjoy computers and electronics, as well as tinkering with different software and ideas. The merging of my creative side and my technical analytical side, as well as my absolute love for all things psychedelic led me to the idea of producing and mixing music.

This project is my journey into the exploration of light and dark psychedelia. Between organic and machine. My goal is to share a piece of myself as well as a part of the unknown in my music. Making the unknown known. Sequencing chaos into symphony...

Leave all rules at the door, this project is designed and curated to be one of borderless exploration. Boundaries define limitations, letting go of this is paramount to the enjoyment of my sound! <3
