For the past decade, Mad Decent has been invading your ears with fresh sounds. With humble beginnings in Diplo’s Philadelphia studio, Mad Decent’s unwavering mission is to highlight underground, genre-blurring sounds. Mad Decent tops iTunes, Beatport and Shazam charts worldwide with #1 Dance tracks and albums with releases from artists like Major Lazer, Dillon Francis, Grandtheft, Party Favor, NGHTMRE and Yellow Claw. Mad Decent is also home to Good Enuff, a launchpad for artists breaking the norm; notable releases include Bauuer’s “Harlem Shake” and DJ Snake’s “Bird Machine.” As an extension of the Mad Decent sound, Mad Decent Block Party was established in 2006 and now spans across North America and India.

Fifteen years of mixing, with acrobatic debuts, evenings spent in trendy bars or sleazy clubs, crackly discs, tracks downloaded from Beatport just before the party, turntables with stiff pitch controls, awesome photos, organising insane parties, unexpected collaborations or disastrous encounters, thousands of posters pasted wildly onto phone boxes, fatigue, insomnia, exhaustion, drinks spilt on new shoes, bottles downed, VIP enclosures squatted, impressive lighting effects, ultra-powerful lasers, strobes, smoke…

Fifteen years of passion, dreams, happiness and the constant desire to share the high that is electronic music! Today, these 15 years of experience have borne fruit, the techniques have been mastered and the urge to move forward has led quite naturally to the creation of a label.

Set up in 2011at the instigation of the DJ and producer Majed, this label specialises in its own original Progressive House and Tech House productions, which will be distributed in digital format. The aim behind this structure is to bring together the producers he collaborates with regularly and to share this musical world with an audience that has already been won over.
