Masturi Digital's first release for 2020 is a superb collaboration with Matsuri founder Tsuyoshi Suzuki and Japanese musician UNI entitled Just 50 Years ago.

Inspired by the 50th anniversary of the moon landing at the time of their session, the two musicians crafted a blasting boundary-expanding journey into space. With a beautiful, emotive synth line that is balanced by high-energy figurations and moving melodic riffs - all underscored with a powerful kick - this track strikes to the heart of our scene with its evocative inspiration of exploring unknown spaces. 

This track has been a huge hit internationally in Tsuyoshi's DJ sets and it is sure to be a huge hits with other DJs and dancers: a perfect track to blast off beyond earth-bound limitations and blow the roof off a party!

O Κώστας Γαβαλάκης γεννήθηκε το 1984 και μεγάλωσε στην Αθήνα. Από μικρή ηλικία άρχισε να ενδιαφέρεται για την ηλεκτρονική μουσική, ιδιαίτερα την uplifting trance, η οποία ήταν αρκετά δημοφιλής την εποχή εκείνη. Το 1999 έκανε τα πρώτα του βήματα στον κόσμο της σύνθεσης. Μαζί με το φίλο του Θοδωρή Τζίμα δημιούργησαν ένα group με το όνομα "Darma", με το οποίο κυκλοφόρησαν δύο κομμάτια στη συλλογή Melodic Morning I το 2000, το Victory και το Elite. Ως το τέλος του 2003 είχαν ήδη κυκλοφορήσει 15 κομμάτια σε πολύ γνωστές και αγαπημένες συλλογές (Trance Wars, Melodic Morning, Transistance) και είχαν παρουσιάσει DJ sets σε όλη την Ελλάδα, μπροστά σε χιλιάδες άτομα. Αυτό είναι ένα προσωπικό Soundcloud του Κώστα σχετικά με την uplifting...Kostas Gavalakis was born in 1984 and raised in Athens. At an early age he got interested in electronic music, especially in uplifting trance, which was very popular back then. In 1999, he started taking his first steps in the world of composing. Along with his friend Thodoris Tzimas they created a group under the name "Darma". They released their first two tracks, "Victory" and "Elite", in 2000 (Melodic Morning I). By the end of 2003 they had already released 15 tracks in various well-known uplifting trance compilations, such as Trance Wars, Melodic Morning and Transistance. They have presented many DJ sets all over Greece, in front of thousands of people. This is a personal profile of Kostas regarding uplifting.
