For the little story, we were swimming in Jazz from a young age through our dad's constant enthusiasm. From the multiple jazz concerts and the music played from morning to night at home, here are our favorite gems from classic jazz to modern jazzy house and electronica.

Jazz in My Salon - Parallelle

90 minute dance journey in the theme of dark and dirty disco for the daytime. This collaboration is a celebration of my New York creative communities and my first take on disco/funk.

From the network of souls and spirits that loom in the loam, a dark figure emerged as if summoned. At first I trembled and shook, and then I took a closer look and saw that the shadow with it's arm outstretched toward me offered not terror, but dance and mysterious melody. And in this way, was born Shadow Play. A way to be free for both friend and enemy. A way travelled  with love through the darkness and the light.

Spirit Ventures XI: Shadow Play

Hello we are Idylic - John Dill (@johndill) & illich Mujica (@illich-mujica). 

Back in 2020 we were in a cabin in the mountains in the middle of the pandemic amongst new learning DJ’s. It was a celebration of illich’s birthday and the first time we played together. 

We already loved the music each one of us played and it was an unsurprising moment of “let’s b2b!” back then. The flow was full of melodic groove with a rich track collection only found in the library of 2 well-seasoned selectors. 

We would come together here and there to jam when the planets aligned, and this is the first official recorded DJ set of ours; live at Burning Man 2023 @ Waffles & House.

This is pure Idylic Housey daytime vibes, before the storm came through, and before the Wafflolympics’ Syrup licking competition. (If you know you know…) ;)

Friends and fam, here is my closing set from Winter Wayward Land on Dec 21, 2023, recorded live at F8 nightclub in San Francisco. This was a big year for Wayward, with some live performances, some exciting B2B sessions, and a lot of talent from across our community. We certainly ended it with a bang! Hope this set gives you a little end-of-year boost to help carry you into 2024!

This is my set from Day One of this year. It is intended to inspire people to pick up more trash as they are walking their dogs to drop poo, or perhaps make a pee. This is what I am constantly  doing while I am walking the dogs, picking up other peoples poo bags and trash.  I am so disappointed with lazy humans that litter on our precious planet! I really hope we can all be better humans in 2024!
