Good evening, here is the 13th episode of Gatecrasher Experiences. I am very happy to invite Eddie Swales into the equation. After meeting Eddie a couple of times at Trance events, I realised he was as passionate as myself about the former club brand Gatecrasher and all the memories of the nights we have had there. Eddie began his DJing journey making Gatecrasher inspired mixes and posting them to music pages. Eddie’s mixes were passed onto Crasher legend Scott Bond, which then gained Eddie a set at the Rebooted afterparty, which if you ask me is the closest event you can get to a Gatecrasher event these days. Eddie has now gone on to bag bookings at various Trance events including Sets in the Trance Festival in Malta. I can’t thank Eddie enough for putting in the time and effort to make another Crasher mix, as I know he has very much enjoyed putting it together. Eddie is such a nice, positive guy and always enthusiastic about Trance music. I am looking forward to seeing him at future events.

Hi everyone, here we are again, this time with Gatecrasher Experiences episode 14. Up next for the guest DJ mix, is Stevie Carnie from Edinburgh who has crafted a nice Early mix to add to the series. Stevie has been listening to Trance from the late 90’s getting inspiration from Sasha’s Millennium Eve set at the Gatecrasher Don Valley Stadium event, Stevie has been a passionate fan of Crasher from then on. Starting off with Stage one to set set the mood for the 3 hour journey, featuring classics like Underworld - Dark & Long, Sasha - Xpander, Stevie’s early mix takes you through a nice build of Progressive tracks to ease you into the uplifting Late mix. The Insomniacz and REBOOTED Ibiza Invasion was phenomenal and flew by far too quickly: a whistle-stop tour from sunset socials to superclubs - Itaca, 528, Es Paradis, Eden and Amnesia. Three busy events in two days and every dancefloor on fire!!!

Kicking off at Itaca, followed by a sunset boat party on the next day and then wrapping up in one of the main rooms at Eden. Really pleasing to see so many come out for these adrenaline-fuelled events. 

For all of you FOMO lovers out there, the vibe and relentless energy was unreal, proof that Ibiza still holds a special spark for the crowds of passionate people drawn to the White Isle’s wonders and mysteries. 

First up from my Ibiza sets was a special warm welcome to Ibiza B2B set with my good friend, promoter and business partner, Tom Muir. We explored the deeper, more atmospheric side of Trance, threading in timeless gems like Way Out West - Mindcircus, Pulser - My Religion and Electrovoya - Whispers. It set the initial soundtrack to what became an enjoyable, relaxing and memorable couple of days.

Day two was all about the sunset boat party with our special headliner Lange and Tom Muir, setting sail from San Antonio Harbour. Decks tight, crowd locked in and pure summer memories in motion for the next hour, hitting full throttle as the sun dropped over the Mediterranean featuring standout selections such as Westbam - Wizards of Sonic, Subliminal Cuts - Le Voie Le Soleil and Y-Traxx – Mysteryland, timed perfectly with the sunset.

For all of you FOMO lovers out there, the vibe and relentless energy were unreal, proof that Ibiza still holds a special spark for the crowds of passionate people drawn to the White Isle’s wonders and mysteries. A perfect storm at sea that set up a thumping finish back on land at Eden later that day. To be concluded…

Still absolutely buzzing from last Saturday 🔥🎃. What a night! Insomniacz’s 26th Birthday was an unforgettable Halloween celebration at the legendary Emporium in Coalville - an iconic venue that defined the Superclub era and remains one of the Midlands’ true institutions of dance culture 🏛️💫.

The Emporium has been lovingly restored to its former glory, complete with the DJ booth back in its rightful home in the Blue Room (the Main Room for many of us who grew up on those nights). The grand reopening of the Red Room raised the bar even higher with a full 360° DJ booth, a stunning laser display and a completely upgraded sound system that shook the walls – #rememberwhereyouseenitfirst ❤️‍🔥.

Playing my unique blend of Trance to a packed, high-energy crowd in that room again was something special. A true nod to the spirit and magic of the 90s 🔥🕺. I opened my set with a very special intro, Skip Raiders - Just Another Day and included by my Crazy Cranberries Mashup. If you haven’t heard it live yet, I'll let you figure out what it is 🙂. From there it was pure ammunition all night, balancing the familiar with the unexpected: moments built around the exciting and fresh talents of Laura May, Bryn Whiting, Miyuki and Siege to name but a few. Each of their tunes adding a unique flavour to the set 🎶💥.

The connection, atmosphere and sheer intensity inside that venue were unforgettable. A perfect reminder of what makes Insomniacz such a cornerstone of the UK Trance scene. It’s also been one of my most requested sets to date, which makes it all the more special 🙏💿.
