After many years of planing, writing music, recording, re-recording, trials and improving, learning more and more about home recording, after involving friends and musicians from the USA, Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark, we are proud to present the first Blue Return EP „Idealism“, recorded in Oberhausen, Essen, Eindhoven, New York, Copenhagen and Daegu. Blessed and happy!!

Our first EP with 9 charming tracks will be out in online stores and streaming services from August 1st.

The Last Sunset

(The Story of) The Last Sunset (Rock, Zombies)

Terrence is a dinosaur living in the present day.* One day he realized that people who lived in other periods of history did not know how to be extreme, and he thought that was bogus! So he built a time machine and travelled all through history!
   He taught Christopher Columbus how to snowboard! Awesome! He went base jumping with Alexander the Great! Bodacious! He even went to the far future of 2006, where people had forgotten how to be extreme, and showed everyone how to roller-blade!
    One time Terrence even used the internet. Not!!! The internet is only for nerds!! So watch Terrence and his adventures each and every week, and never stop being EXTREME!!**

* The present day being 1993.

**The Gnarly Adventures of Terrence the Time Travelling Dinosaur was cancelled half way through the first episode due to its awfulness. Here are what some people who saw that broadcast had to say about it. All have chosen to remain anonymous for fear that people will know they have seen The Gnarly Adventures of Terrence the Time Travelling Dinosaur.

“It was so bad it instantly liquified my internal organs.”

“They couldn’t even get the theme tune right. There are no drums and the guitars keep going off tempo. I hope whoever’s responsible for that awful tune never worked again.”

“My husband and I are forever grateful for the fact that our son was born after the Gnarly Adventures of Terrence the Time Travelling Dinosaur.”

“I thought the anger and hurt would have gone away by now. I suppose all you can do is take things one day at a time and be thankful for the little things.”

Fortunately, nobody alive today will ever be subjected to the Gnarly Adventures of Terrence the Time Travelling Dinosaur. All copies of the first and only season were burned to ash, then the ash was thrown into a volcano, and then an atomic bomb was detonated inside the volcano. Now the world can move on.

So this is the end of my Guitaranuary adventure. And also the end of Winter so I decided to compose something that would reflect that. The days will be getting less cold and hopefully more time will be spent out in the sun.
   This was the track where I was most worried I wouldn't get it done before the end of the day. There's even a section where I had to complete part of a lead line in two parts, punching in the second part. Never had to do that before, but time was my enemy!
 
  Thank you to everyone who listened to me during the last month. I'll probably be taking a break from recording for a while, unless four hundred ideas pop into my head at the same time, as tends to happen. But I'll definitely be recording more stuff later in the year. Until then, all the best.
