Walls
From a distance, I see a wall
I’m not sure if it’s there at all
I walk endless miles
From day to nightfall
But, I don’t seem to get closer
No closer at all

After many years, I reach that wall
It’s very wide and very tall
I think I have to climb it
Or it could be my downfall
Walls surround us all
Some are real, some not at all
Some are strong, most will fall

While climbing up a wall
I lose my grip and fall
I’ve been falling now 
For many years
If I can’t run, I’ll crawl
If I can’t crawl, I’ll fall
