Simon DK from the DiY Sound System was an integral part of putting the deep in the early British house scene and free party culture beginning in the late 80’s… and a central inspiration to all of us that went on to form the Deep Cartel soundsystem and collective...  DiY were renowned for punk principles but with beautiful music and DK embodied this spirit to the end… he will be deeply missed but so wonderfully remembered for getting so many of us deep inside in his transcendent sets… ...this set here a true gem and one of the highlights of a series of nights the Deep Cartel hosted in the SW from 2000-2003... DK with his finger on the pulse breaking records nobody had heard at the time, brand new tunes fresh from San Francisco... finally I dug out the MiniDisc recording after 20yrs in the barn, remastered it to brighten up the lost EQ.... and here you go...
