The VA theme on the LP series under the name Untitled || continues to explore the subject of 8 different minds from different corner of the globe connected by the principle and love for the audio frequencies in line with Exarde. Featuring two artists which already dear to label due to the fact of past releases on it and six new ones who have become instant people of love and admiration for me. From the more deep and mellow to the higher pressure for the brain this double disc shall meet your demands. The art theme of this one is blobs & globs from space, whether they are emerging, fighting with their own shadow, or just simply floating and co-existing. This shall conclude my rambling for this body of work as I go and put these eight essences through my ear canals once again. Great deal of thanks for the hard work and dedication of these talented conductors.

The latest Partisan release heralds the start of a new concept series; focused on two artists at a time. 

Antoine Sy, from Hossegor in South West France, has quickly established himself via appearances on his own BinarySound and Antam labels, as well as other spots on Novi Orbis, Opia and Rube Goldberg Series. His approach to techno is raw and punchy, perfectly attuned to the Partisan ethic of direct rhythmic structures and cosmically-inclined, acidic synths. “Varivari” is a direct party-starter, while “Damback” gets a little trippier without diluting the impact of Sy’s forthright production style. 

Cabanelas is an ergent Uruguyan artist and co-owner of Montevideo label. On “Kirko” he combines, tweaking monosynth arpeggios with mysterious atmospherics and a deadly sub-bass line geared towards total immersion. “Sobrevivencia” goes deeper still, capturing the spirited retro-futurism of classic 90s techno and giving it a bold, modernist update. Once again the sub-bass takes centre stage, edging into squelchy territory as Cabanelas subtly works the filter for the track’s freakiest peaks. 

Deliciously different and totally tuned for the floor, all four tracks capture the Partisan spirit in style, while bringing the spotlight onto two exciting new talents in the techno landscape.

With a knack for collecting rare vinyl and curating infectious beats, DJ Darren Roach from East London has been a prominent figure in the UK club scene since the early days of Acid House. Starting out at prestigious London clubs during his youth, he swiftly established himself as a technically adept DJ noted for pushing boundaries.

Over the years, Darren has performed at major clubs, festivals, and parties worldwide, leaving an indelible mark on the underground music community by seamlessly blending various electronic music styles to keep dance floors moving. From overseeing Press and Promotion at Intergroove UK in the early 2000s to establishing his own imprint, Studiotek Records, his passion for crafting and mixing top-notch dance tracks shines through.

Today, drawing on his wealth of experience, Darren is channeling his creative energy into crafting a range of exciting new releases. His upcoming album, "Low Ranger LP," set to drop in July, marks a milestone as the first artist to launch an album under Gene on Earth's label, 'The Sound of the Limo'. With Gene recognising Darren's timeless tracks gaining traction among a new wave of DJs, a collaboration was a natural progression to introduce more of his innovative tech and house sounds to music lovers everywhere.
